No one comes back the same after bathing in Tapajós, and reforesting their soul in the Amazon. Vivalá is a serious company, connected to the community and extremely careful. This was the first trip of many!

Going on this trip was so enriching for my life to be able to learn more about the community, about the people who are around there, to know the culture, to meet people who participated in the expedition...

I am an experienced traveler, I have visited more than 50 countries in the last 10 years, almost always on my own and with a certain fear of hiring a “package”. But I found Vivalá's proposal interesting and decided to give it a chance. Seriously, it was one of the coolest trips I’ve ever made, not just for destiny itself (which is wonderful), but for the whole purpose and also for the amazing people I’ve met. If you are in doubt, give a chance too :)

I participated in the Tapajós Expedition in January 2023 and it was one of the best experiences I had. Vivalá focuses on the safety, comfort and well-being of its travellers, without losing the essence of a community-based trip. Immersion in the rivery culture is real, with the right and respectful contact with the people who live there. Highly recommended.

I participated in the Tapajós Expedition in January 2020 and it was one of the best trips I have ever made. First, the wealth of the place. Knowing the Amazon, its great rivers and all its biodiversity is enriching and absolutely necessary. I knew I was imagining what the Amazon was, but being there is another thing... A truly differentiated energy. Second, the cultural experience. Everything was even more amazing by immersion in traditional culture!!! Listening to the stories (many folklore, about Boto and Iara), knowing their gastronomy, their activities and being able to exchange with the traditional community was amazing. Third party, I have to say that I met amazing people and that the entire exchange within the expedition itself was super aggregating. The whole experience really makes you see beyond, understand a little better even about the incredible wealth and diversity that this Brazil has!
