Nanning

Yangmei Ancient Town of Nanning

The Yangmei Ancient Town, located in the lower course of Zuojiang River, is surrounded by the river from 3 directions, 38 kilometers from Nanning, enjoying a relatively convenient transportation of both waterways and highways. Yangmei includes the best-preserved architecture group of Ming and Qing Dynasty, which also tops the rank in China. Entering into the town, you will be caught by the illusion as if you have entered into the movie base of Qing Dynasty. Striding forward on the uneven stone-built road, the crack on the dark road recalls residents of the memory of the ancient time. There are also masonry made from blue brisk, solemn and respectful. You can still sense the smell of candy and sticky rice generated from the crack of brisk of Daoguang Period. Either from the fine work of gate and window, or the splendid door header decorated by flower patterns, or the magnificent screen wall, the implication and vicissitudes of history quietly recorded on the building itself, retold by local people, and generated into a sort of cultural accumulation.

Mingshi Rurality

After lunch, your guide will escort you to your Mingshi hotel, need 3hrs driving, 186km. Located 53 km from Daxin County, 210 km from Nanning, capital city of Guangxi, Mingshi Scenic Area is crowned as the “Small ‪Guilin‬” and a photographer's heaven.‬ You've probably not heard of Mingshi Tian Yuan before, but if you're looking for somewhere unspoilt and unoccupied by tourists crowds, Mingshi's intoxicating rural countryside and surreal mountainous region shaped by Karst landscape have a lot to offer.

Tongling Grand Canyon

Today, your guide will meet you at 9am and drive to Tongling Grand Canyon which in Jingxi country for marvelous Tongling Gorge, Tongling waterfalls, and primeval forest of various vegetation It is a canyon of totally enclosed type, with the length of about 1000 meters, and the width of more than 200 meters. It is like a beautiful scar of the earth. The deep valley, clean stream, green vegetation and the highest waterfall in Asia makes the canyon full of livingness and intelligence. According to the geologists, the canyon was originally a blind valley. Because of the crustal movement, the top of the blind valley depressed. Now the valley is still an arch, which is a unique characteristic of blind valley. And there hanging various stalactites on the vaulted cliff.

Detian Scenic Resort

Next, go to Detian Waterfall which is located in the Chinese nature reserve near the Sino-Vietnam border of China’s Daxin County, Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and is considered one of the country’s special tourism attractions. It crosses from China to Vietnam and is Asia’s largest transnational waterfall, and places second longest amongst the entire world. Detian waterfall is more than 200 meters wide, and more than 60 meters deep. No matter if you are close to the falls or far from them, these magnificent falls are sure to captivate your heart.

At the end, your guide will escort you to your hotel.

Longhu Mountain Reserve

The Longhu Natural Reserve is also called Longhu Mountain, it is located in Longan County, about 83 km to downtown Nanning. Longhu Mountain is comprehensive forest and wildlife nature reserve and protection area, and is also one of the four famous "Monkey Kingdom" in China. Here in Longhu Mountain, visitors can enjoy fresh air, see green mountains and peaks, old cane, bamboo bridge, clean water, various buildings and towers and hundreds of birds; further more, more than 2,500 monkeys will "welcome" you on the road side, along the river,even in the river. See the monkey and discover their life here is the highlight.

Nanning

After lunch, drive you back to your hotel in Nanning.

Guangxi Museum of Nationalities

Today, your guide can meet you at 9am in the morning and transfer to Guangxi Provincial Museum. The Museum of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, or Guangxi Museum for short, is a provincial museum located in the east side of Qiyi Square in Nanning City. The main building of the museum is a large cuboid construction in the column-style of Zhuang people. Covering 32757 square meters, Guangxi Museum is divided into exhibition halls in the first, second and third floors, offices in the fourth floor and a 24000-square-meter Ethnic Relics Center with great ethnic features in the back of the building.

Qingxiu Mountain

Next, go to Qingxiu Mountain which is one of the famous scenic spots in Nanning and is located on the banks of the Yongjiang River. Qingxiu Mountain has more than a dozen foothills such as Qingshan and Fenghuangling. Here, you can visit the Longxiang Pagoda, look out over the landscapes. Or you can stroll through the park and admire different kinds of flowers. In springtime, this is a great place to enjoy flowers blooming, especially peach blossoms on Peach Blossom Island.

Yangshuo County

After lunch, drive you to your Yangshuo hotel, need 4.5hrs driving, 380km.

Yangshuo County

Your guide will pick you up at the lobby of your hotel at around 08:30 in the morning. You will be escorted to the well-known Longji Terraces in around 120 minutes ride.

Dragon's Backbone Rice Terraces

After a two-hour drive you will reach the entrance for the Longji Terraces and you will visit the Ping'an Village, This village has the most famous and beautiful rice terraces in Longji and need about a 30-minute drive again from the entrance tickets office. The Dragon's Backbone Rice Terraces is a splendid agricultural spectacle with a history of more than 650 years. The most eye-catching part of the terrace cluster is the Ping'an Village Rice Terrace, which was the earliest one discovered by tourists and photographers. Numerous narrow rice fields dug along the hill slopes form terraces connected by winding flagstone trails. There are viewing platforms for visitors to view the entire terrace fields built tier upon tier. While you are there you can also experience the minority Zhuang people's traditional way of life. It is quite interesting to help them in the fields, try on their bright-colored ethnical costumes, and visit their unique stilted houses.

Ping'an Village

Upon arrival, Then you will take a moderate trek along steps to Ping'an Zhuang Village. The walk up takes about 40 minutes. Your guide will take you on a stroll around the village where you can glimpse the local Zhuang peoples' unique wooden stilted houses and we can have a lunch in the village. After a short lunch break, continue your terrace exploration to the No.2 Viewing Platform(Seven star with the moon), a 15-minute walk, which is a fantastic spot for a bird's-eye view of the Longji Terraces beneath your feet. You will have enough time to take pictures and enjoy the fresh air at the platform. And then, we will head to No.1 Viewing Platform(Nine Dragons and five tigers) and need 30 minutes via the flat path. Afterwards, back to Yangshuo hotel again.

Yangshuo County

In the morning, your guide will meet you at 9am and go to the Yangshuo countryside.

Yulong River

Then you will go along the Yulong River by bicycle or E-bike to immerse yourself in the local idyllic landscape for 2-3 hours. En route, you will see vast farmlands dotted with colorful wildflowers and log cabins, stretching out from the foot of rolling hills. There are sometimes peasants driving one or two oxen to plow the fields, injecting a sense of vitality into the rustic scenery.

Xingping Town

After the lunch break, will drive for an hour to the Xingping Dock for your motorized raft journey on the Li River. On the way you will pass by Fuli Town which is renowned for a traditional handicraft - painted fans. If you are interested, you can make a short stop there.

Yangshuo County

After the boat tour, you can walking around the Xingping old street then we will drop off you at Yangshuo hotel. There is a night show option in Yangshuo. It is the 'Impression Sanjie Liu', performed above and on the Li River and against verdant hills. The dreamlike stage effect and original singing and dancing of national minorities have won the performance a great reputation among visitors. The show begins at 20:00 and lasts for 70 minutes; ticket prices range from CNY 268 to CNY 368 depending on the seats. Yangshuo County

In the morning, your guide and driver will pick you up from the hotel at around 09:00, and then escort you to the Yulong river, where you will start the Yangshuo Yulong bamboo boat tour.

Yulong River

Taking a bamboo raft ride on the Yulong River (or dragon river), a tributary of the Li River, is a very relaxing way to enjoy the highly scenic area south of Yangshuo. Here you can enjoy the stunning scenery and views of country life on a non-motorised raft in the traditional way with a gondolier who steers you over the breakwaters past many small mud-brick villages and farmlands. Once you’re on the bamboo raft, sitting and enjoying the peaceful countryside, the limestone mountains, the beauty of this experience opens out before you. Even if you have cycled the area with a few hidden stretches approaching the river, the view from the river is very different. The boat lasts for 50 minutes, one way boat ride.

Huangyao Ancient Town

With typical karst landform, the old town is skirted by splendid hills, towering trees and clean streams. It looks like a primitive and simple village with different kinds of pavilions, various temples, ancestral halls and even the old trees. Upon arrival, we will explore this serene town firstly by visiting the old folk houses. There are more than 300 old residences scattered along the narrow streets and each of them is constructed and decorated in the style of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. As the ancient town offers a lot of local delicacies, so, the lunch will be included the package tour. And our guide will be delighted to recommend some restaurants according to your preference. After the lunch break, continue our adventure to discover more hidden spots and sights in the old town, such as the Immortal Ancient Well, Dailong Bridge, An’le Temple, The Ancient Opera Stage, "Dragon Claw" Banyan etc.

Wuzhou

The whole visit at the Huangyao Ancient Town takes about 3 hours with the lunch time, and at the end you will be escorted to your hotel in Wuzhou and need 2.5hrs car ride,170km.

Wuzhou

Your guide will pick you up at the lobby of your hotel at around 09:00 in the morning. You will be escorted to the well-known Arcade in around 20 minutes ride.

Qilou Building

After opened to outside world in 1897, Wuzhou had became the business center of Guangxi. The 1920s, the ancient buildings were knocked dowan and extended the street. So the original houses were replaced by arcades. There were continuous of Arcade Building in the ancient city which in the estern of the river. There are 560 buildings which are China and the West union on 22 Arcade Buildings Streets. Many business men got together here, and here was ever existing more than 1,500 shops. According to the appearance of Wuzhou arcade buildings, you can see many representative Chinese building language, like Catherine Wheel, tile carving, memorial archway and so on. The second floor of arcade buildings in Wuzhou are built with an iron ring and water gate. It is the sign of wet city in Wuzhou.

Dragon Mother Temple

Next, go to the Dragon Mother Temple was built in the Northern Song dynasty in memory of the dragon mother who was once a legendary woman chieftain of the Southern Yue nationalities in the Warring States Period. The dragon mother is said to have a moral integrity of helping all the people in need and thus highly respected and regarded as the mother of the descendants of the dragon (namely, Chinese). The temple was rebuilt in the Ming & Qing dynasties and repaired and enlarged in the 1980's. It covers an area of 5000 square meters, including the following main buildings: the gateway, front & rear hall, temporary imperial hall, corridor, pavilion, stone tortoise pond, etc. The Dragon Mother Temple is a well-known historic scenic spot of the South-eastern area of Guangxi and attracts tens of thousands of tourists & devotees from home and abroad.

Guangzhou

At the end you will be escorted back to your hotel in Guangzhou and need 3.5hrs driving, 256km.

Guangzhou

Your guide will pick you up at the lobby of your hotel at around 09:00 in the morning. You will be escorted to the well-known Chen Clan Ancestral Hall in around 30 minutes ride.

Chen Clan Ancestral Hall

The Chen Clan Ancestral Hall, which is an academic temple built by the 72 Chen clans for their juniors' accommodation and preparation for the imperial examinations in 1894 in Qing Dynasty. Academy of Chen Clan is a complex with traditional Canton architecture style, and notable for the rich decoration which exist inside, outside the halls and in almost every beams, ridges, walls and columns including a large collection of wood carving, stone carving, brick carving, pottery, plaster and iron engraving.

Shamian Island

Afterwards, take the private car to Shamian Island to wander around the European architectural style area which was former colony for British and French 100 years ago. Your guide will take you to a local restaurant to taste yummy Cantonese Dim Sum for the lunch.

Qingping Medicine Market

After lunch, You will Transfer Qingping market which is Located at the cross interchange between Qingping Street and Tiyun Street along the Pearl River, Qingping Market in Guangzhou is a composite market selling agricultural complementary products as well as Chinese herbal medicines. Covering an area of 11,200 square meters (120,000 square feet) and possessing over 1,200 booths, it is a market of a large-scale and wide variety. More than 600 varieties of meat, eggs and vegetables, seafood, Chinese herbal medicines, dried fruits, flowers, birds and fishes, are sold. Government officials of over 40 countries including the United States, Britain, France, Germany, Japan and other countries used to visit it. They all considered the visit as a great pleasure! Here, you can buy a variety of agricultural sideline products, feel the warm local life and experience the civilized ancient trading ways.

Hualin Temple

Next, go to Hualin Temple (Hualin Si) which is located in Guangzhou, Guangdong province. It is an ancient temple with about 1400 years ago. The temple was constructed in the Southern Dynasties (420-581 AD). In the year 1654 the temple was expanded and renamed Hualin Temple. It was then one of the five largest Buddhist temples in Guangzhou, with a large team of monks. The Five-Hundred-Arhat Hall was built in the last year of Emperor Daoguang (1821-1861). The statues of the Arhats are lifelike, in different postures and moods. There is also a statue of Marco Polo, the Italian explorer who came to China in the thirteenth century. The King Asoka Pagoda sits in the middle of the hall.

Lychee Bay Scenic Area

And then Transfer to Lychee Bay which is a famous tourist area in Guangzhou, especially for tourists wanting to experience some authentic flavor of Lingnan culture and customs. Lychee Bay is located in the Pantang region, west of Liwan District in Guangzhou.
