Port Adelaide
Enjoy cruising the iconic Port River in Port Adelaide learning about the rich maritime history. You'll get to visit the Ships Graveyard where the remains of at least 40 abandoned vessels lie embedded in silt and partially hidden by mangroves in the backwaters of the Port River, in Adelaide's north west. The collection includes large and small sailing, steam and motor vessels, barges, pontoons and dredges.
Adelaide Dolphin Sanctuary
The Adelaide Dolphin Sanctuary is one of the gems of metropolitan Adelaide. Located only 20 minutes from Adelaide, this marine park is home to around 30 resident bottlenose dolphins, with another 400 transient dolphins that visit at various times. These wild dolphins come here to feed, play, socialise and nurse their calves.

This river cruise is amazing! Our boat operator was very knowledgeable about the area and history of the various boats that had been sunk in The Port River. We were also very lucky to see a few dolphins on our cruise!

The different viewing areas on the boat were great to see the sights along the river, and the crew members were very knowledgeable about the area. Seeing the pod of dolphins was a highlight.

This trip was well worth it. Informative talk of this beautiful area of Port Adelaide. I would not hesitate to recommend this tour to anyone. Dolphin sightings are not guaranteed, but the crew does specify that this might be the case when you get on board.

We didn’t see any dolphins, but it was a pleasant cruise on the water. Our boat skipper was very knowledgeable in the history of the river and the ship graveyard.

No dolphins, the guide speaks in his beard, you will stay in the port and very little time in the mangroves. Waste of time and money

Excellent trip. Alex, the pilot and guide, was very good. Knowledgeable, very informative tour throughout. Happy to answer all questions too. Went out of his way to find dolphins for us to view. A very enjoyable experience. Highly recommended

The tour is very informative about the local ship wrecks and history of the port river. Unfortunately we didn't to get to see any dolphins, which was fine as thebcruise was still great and peaceful.
