Port Adelaide
Enjoy cruising the iconic Port River in Port Adelaide learning about the rich maritime history. You'll get to visit the Ships Graveyard where the remains of at least 40 abandoned vessels lie embedded in silt and partially hidden by mangroves in the backwaters of the Port River, in Adelaide's north west. The collection includes large and small sailing, steam and motor vessels, barges, pontoons and dredges.
Adelaide Dolphin Sanctuary
The Adelaide Dolphin Sanctuary is one of the gems of metropolitan Adelaide. Located only 20 minutes from Adelaide, this marine park is home to around 30 resident bottlenose dolphins, with another 400 transient dolphins that visit at various times. These wild dolphins come here to feed, play, socialise and nurse their calves.

On a very hot day we headed out on the shipwreck tour and hopefully a sighting of the dolphins. The experience from beginning to end was friendly, enjoyable with knowledge on the history of some of the wrecks. As we stepped outside to enjoy the ocean breeze we were lucky to see a couple of dolphins come towards the ship. Highly recommend as an event or a way to chill out for a couples of hours.

A wonderful relaxing tour. Lovely river breeze on a hot day too. Saw a few dolphins, one right next to the boat for a few short seconds.

The Port River Cruise was both entertaining and informative. Alex and Jim were great hosts, and we were able to see a number of pods of dolphin which was amazing. I would highly recommend this tour.

Naomi is very knowledgeable when it came to the shipwrecks and their history, very interesting facts. We did see a pod of dolphins, from a distance on both occasions, the first time they were having breakfast, so we did not interrupt them, on the return trip they were again in the distance but were not too fussed we were there and were not up to for a visit to the boat.
