Port Adelaide
Enjoy cruising the iconic Port River in Port Adelaide learning about the rich maritime history. You'll get to visit the Ships Graveyard where the remains of at least 40 abandoned vessels lie embedded in silt and partially hidden by mangroves in the backwaters of the Port River, in Adelaide's north west. The collection includes large and small sailing, steam and motor vessels, barges, pontoons and dredges.
Adelaide Dolphin Sanctuary
The Adelaide Dolphin Sanctuary is one of the gems of metropolitan Adelaide. Located only 20 minutes from Adelaide, this marine park is home to around 30 resident bottlenose dolphins, with another 400 transient dolphins that visit at various times. These wild dolphins come here to feed, play, socialise and nurse their calves.

Very relaxing trip and the guide was entertaining and informative. We saw dolphins three times and the skipper took time to float around the pod so we could get the best view of them. Every question I had in my head was answered by the guide. Great experience.

A great cruise with beautiful scenery and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Our skipper, Alex, was knowledgeable, down to earth and helpful. The ships graveyard was interesting and we got to see several dolphin pods. I would highly recommend this cruise.

Not a bad way to kill a couple of hours but don’t expect a majestic harbour or lots of natural wonders. You will probably see a couple of dolphins and a heavy industrial port that is trying to gentrify. The bird sanctuary consisted of seagulls, herons and ibis - really nothing to get excited about. The guide was quite knowledgeable and the history of the shipwrecks are interesting but don’t hold attention for long. Worth a look but don’t have high expectations.

We took our 3 grandchildren on the cruise and had a lovely time. The guide was fun and informative and even though we are locals we learnt things we didn’t know. Well worth the visit!

Great trip for the family. Took my 5 year old and we were very interested in the history of the port. We were also lucky to see some dolphins before returning to port. 90 min was ample time for child, the 2 hour cruise would have been too long.
