E-foiling or jet boarding, is a new and exciting water sport that combines elements of surfing and kiteboarding. It’s an activity that can be quickly picked up by both young and old, unlike some other water sports that take far more in dedication, lessons, and practice. Vela Aruba is the first and only school to introduce the brand new aquatic sport of e-Foiling to Aruba. Feel the freedom of flying over the water on top of an e-Foil board and see all that is happening in the beautiful crystal clear Caribbean sea from above. Fish and turtles are plentiful and perhaps you will be lucky enough to encounter the occasional dolphin having a race with you. Don’t forget to bring your GoPro.

5.00We had so much fun trying the e-foil. It was just as difficult as expected, but was super fun. The shop owner and instructors were super kind and friendly. I would recommend this activity for someone looking to do something new while enjoying time in the open water. We spent most of our time falling off the board, but did get some air a few times!

5.00Everything at Vela Sports Aruba was perfect! As an amateur windsurfer and family man, it was important for me to make sure my family was having fun while I was seeking my thrills on the water. Vela delivered exactly that - my kids were hooked from the very first day and couldn’t wait to take lessons each day of our vacation. While Vela has great equipment and every beach toy imaginable, it is their staff that makes the experience so special and wonderful. Every single member of the Vela team, starting with Hense the owner to Tom, Jarian, Nigel, Hisel, Helena, and Nicolas- everyone was just awesome! You felt like you were part of their family by the end of the first day. Since the winds are unpredictable, the vast variety of equipment (windsurf, kiteboard, foiling, etc) guarantees that there is always something fun to do. After crushing windsurfing for a couple of days, I pivoted to E-Foiling and had a blast during the rest of the week. I couldn’t say better things about Vela and the great time I had there. Thanks again guys!!!
