Amelia Island Lighthouse
Oldest lighthouse in Florida (only open 11-2pm Saturdays) You can see the lighthouse from the Main Road. You can only go inside the lighthouse during these times. Don't be worried, there's still a lot of cool exploring you can do on the island.
Bosque Bello Cemetery
Oldest cemetery on Amelia Island established in 1798. The land that encompasses Bosque Bello was granted to the City as a public burial ground by Don Domingo Fernandez, an early private landowner. In Bosque Bello, you will discover the graves of 19th century Spanish residents, Amelia Island Lighthouse keepers, gun runners, politicians, boat captains, magicians, law enforcement officers, victims of both yellow and typhoid fever epidemics, nuns, and veterans of many wars - from the American Revolution to the present day.

We had the best time on this guided tour. We laughed and learned a lot. We can not wait to revisit Amelia Island and ride with Amelia Island Board Rentals. The owners are the BEST!

Highly recommend, so much fun on Amelia Island. Hugh was prompt and very knowledgeable about the island, To our surprise, Hugh took us all around the island and explained in detail what we were seeing. He gave us a private island tour instead of my husband and I going out on our own. It was a great surprise. Thank you Hugh, we had a great time!❤️

A great way to see and experience the island. Hugh is awesome. He gave us a Quick lesson on vehicle operations, a test run, and an interesting history lesson — which made for a great start. Loved being in our own “island time” to hit the spots we wanted. Highly recommend!!!

There are towns where you have to move leisurely. • To have time to notice everything. • So that everyone has time to notice you. • So that you have time to notice that everyone has time to notice you. The cool electric car that we used completely solves the above-mentioned problems.

The vehicle has two seatbelts that cross over you! Be prepared to have your plans for sightseeing to get the most out of your experience if you’re doing a self guided trip! The staff were amazing!

My husband and I had a wonderful experience riding around Amelia Island and visiting local sites. The ride was smooth and easy to operate. Logan was very helpful. My only regret was not taking it out for the whole day.

Outstanding way to view the island. Would do a longer tour next time so that we could visit a few more of the recommended sites. Well worth the money.

Fun and “breezy” self tour of the old town, downtown and Fort Clinch park. Suggestions- -arrive in time to review the waiver if booking with a third party. Read it. - this is not like driving a golf cart! A test drive is conducted prior to doing own self tour to determine skill and ability. - you can go back and view the fort property and museum later in the day on the ( self -pay ) entrance ticket of $4 ( considered a motorcycle). The park is a good place to start the tour to get accustomed to driving. - driver is given an Apple Maps link pins for points of interest and highlights. Must look up own historical information . Logan was the staff member who met us for the excursion. He was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the vehicle and town as he is a local. He recommended restaurants and other things to do after the trip.
