We had a wonderful time!! The top of the boat was covered so we didn't get burned, but could lean out the side if we wanted sun, and there was a lovely breeze. There was a family talking very loudly (our fear because we bought this to hear about the sights and history), but the speakers were loud enough for the captain to be heard regardless!! It was informative, welcoming, relaxing, and lovely. Would absolutely recommend!

It was really relaxing and very informative. They had a great selection of drinks and nibbles also. My family loved it.

Great way to see the city, but nothing special and the boat travels slowly. We actually felt a bit envious watching people on the public transportation boats go whizzing by us as we were not travelling fast enough to create much of a breeze. We also found it odd that the commentary was a recording that they tried to line up with what we were seeing in the moment rather than a live interactive tour guide, which made for a much less engaging experience. If we could do it over, we would just buy a ticket on one of the public transportation boats as we would get a more enjoyable boat ride for a lot cheaper.

It was a great boat ride but not very much to see or history to tell about the buildings along the Brisbane river. Nice boat and great with coffie and scones.

Really enjoyed this river cruise. It was easy to find the dock where we would get on/off the boat. Lots to see and a lot of history about the river and the different points of interest. You almost want to go a second time to see if you missed anything! The boat has two levels, both are covered. Downstairs is mostly enclosed and where the bar and snacks are located. There are tables and chairs. There is a small area with seating for about 6 - 8 people that is outside of the cabin (at the back of the boat) where you can enjoy the sights and have your cocktails al fresco while still having shade. We took the 1230 pm cruise on a Sunday. It was a cloudy (summer) day and with the speed of the boat (6 - 7 knots), it was a cool day. If your hat doesn't fit snugly you probably won't need one. Otherwise you are holding it in place or in your hand.
