So, you have found yourself in this city of Belgrade and you have no idea where exactly you are?
You are also interested in everyday world politics and have the desire to know how we got here, or where it all went wrong?
Well, you are in the right place for that.
Since the time of Christ, Belgrade was always an important outpost on the border of two civilizations, between the East and the West... Celts, Romans, Byzantines, Ottomans, Austro - Hungarians, Germans, Russians... they all fought and died to capture or liberate the White city (Beo-grad), and left their bones here. Many empires collided here, and world history was shaped on these two mighty rivers, where Belgrade proudly stands today as a Serbian capital. Let us take to the journey through time, where we explain world politics, geography, and geopolitics and more you wanted to know about the Balkans, but you were afraid to ask.

Marija gave us a brilliant three hour tour of Belgrade that felt both relaxed and full of insight. She showed us the city’s highlights and painted a vivid picture of its complex history through the buildings and streets around us. The time we spent at the fortress was a real standout as she brought the site to life with detail and stories. Marija’s style was warm and easygoing yet she kept us engaged the whole way through. It was a memorable afternoon and I would highly recommend her to anyone wanting to get to know Belgrade.

Marija was so fun to be with on our history and graveyard tour. She was on time, patient, enthusiastic and so fun to be with. I would highly recommend her as your guide and spending the day with her. Lunch was great and all her knowledge. This company overall has fantastic people working for them. Thank you so much!

This tour not only gives you an overview of the varied parts of old city center, but tells you how it came to be this way. T B, our guide, offered us in depth history of Serbia and its place in the Balkans, as well as the current day situation. A lot to absorb. Excellent tour.

I had a one on one history tour with Tibor and it was outstanding. As a political scientist, Tibor had deep knowledge of the history and politics of Belgrade and Serbia. He used the city’s many sites to explain the history and because I was the only guest I had a great opportunity to ask many questions. I highly recommend this tour if you want to learn about Belgrade’s key sites and learn about the history of Serbia.

This walking tour is soooo good. All the different neighborhoods, the architecture, the fortress, and the view of the rivers at sunset👌🏼. Plus Pedja was one of the best guides I have had anywhere. His knowledge of the history and culture was so impressive, and he added lots of personal stories and random interesting facts along the way. He was very attentive to our small group, and adapted the tour to our preferences. The city of Belgrade is truly fascinating, and I’m not sure you could find a better person to walk you through it. Thank you Pedja!

Had a marvellous walking tour of Belgrade with an outstanding, guide, Pedja. His knowledge of Serbian history was excellent and he combined this skilfully with unexpected stops at seemingly ordinary points, which I had previously walked by without noticing. He was able to link each site with a critical point in Serbia's tumultuous history. It also meant I got to understand the layout of the old city. Pedja was also kind and very generous with his time. He has inspired me to read more about the history of this region, but, meanwhile, gave me a university semester course in 2 hours, including over a very good coffee. It didn't rush along and we asked him a huge range of questions, which he answered carefully and wisely. Thank you so much, Pedja, for your charm and intelligence.

A brilliant guide who was interesting & informative. It was more like a discussion than a lecture which made it engaging. He was also considerate helping us to get a taxi at the end of the tour.
