What To Expect
Zlatna Panega
The Zlatna Panega Springs are located near the village of Zlatna Panega. The water temperature of the springs varies between 8.4 and 15.4 degrees Centigrade. Because of the concentration of calcium carbonate, the color of the water in both springs is a remarkable pale blue-green.
Geopark Iskar - Panega
The eco trail Iskar - Panega is located next to the village Lukovit. The trail is long 16 km, but we will walk only few km. Part of the trail passes above the river.

5.00My guide Peter arrived promptly and was a great guide, very friendly and knowledgeable. We visited the source of the Zlatna Panega river, then went on the Zlatna Panega eco trail followed by a brilliant boat trip on the river, we also visited the impressive Prohodna Cave (The Eyes of God Cave). A great day out from Sofia and highly recommended. Thank you Peter
