This tour is a stress free way to learn about the unique history of the mountain, engineering, and environment of an Alpine peak that is just under ten thousand feet. Our guides have been bringing people to the Zugspitze for over nine years and will be there every step of the tour showing you the amazing views, history, and fun of Germany's tallest mountain.

What To Expect
Zugspitze
using the newly built cable car we will make our way to the peak of Germany for a full three hour tour of the peak, the glacier, the facilitates, and more.
Ludwigstrasse
After we are finished with the peak of Germany we love to make our way into downtown Partenkirchen for a tour of the famous Ludwigstrasse and our favorite chocolate shop!

5.00Jim was fantastic, you couldn't have asked for a better tour guide. He has an incredible knowledge of the area's history and general knowledge. He was very accommodating and if we had any things that we particularly wanted to see he insured that we saw or did them. He made suggestions of beautiful photos to take and fun photos to do. From the time that the tour company contacted us they were helpful and kept in contact with us, using whatsapp or email for contact with us. We highly recommend this tour to anyone. An excellent tour.

5.00Jake our Tour Guide was fantastic. He was very patient when our train was 2 hours late to arrive due to track issues He customized our tour due to our late arrival and the weather conditions on the top of the Zugspitze. He is a friend to all which gave us some special access and experiences with the tram operators and others. Igloo Hotel and Church at the top He even made a detour to visit a site when he learned I had a relative who many years ago worked in Garmisch. Great food, fun walking tour(s) Lovely chocolate and butter pretzels We will be back for a summer tour and then a Christmas Market tour

5.00This is the second time that we got Jake to be our guide, the first being 6 years ago. Jake was again a fantastic guide; obliging, unassuming and very knowledgable. He planned a perfect day for us, enthralled with a “story” for everything, and we especially appreciated that he made a special effort to successfully engage our two teenage children. Jake was a very safe driver and his vehicle was very comfortable and super clean. We will definitely want Jake to be our guide when we are in the region again, and we will highly recommend him to anyone looking for a expert guide of Zugspitz and the Garmisch Partenkirchen area!

5.00My wife and I had the BEST two day private guided tour ever!! Jim was an awesome teacher/guide. I learned more about the history of Bavaria while enjoying the awesome sights, castles, towns and on day 2, the Zugspitze and Garmisch-Partenkirche. Definitely a must do if you want to see the real thing, not just the usual tourist tour. Thank you Jim!

5.00A Big high five to Jake Doherty and All Things Garmisch. Again another awesome trip with this guy, although our morning trip to the Zugspits windchill factor was a ripping -140 Jake made the trip fun and enjoyable and got us out on the overlook platform for an unexpected but memorable picture. We will continue and plan many more trips using Jakes services. Looking forward to Octoberfest 2022. All Things Garmisch comes highly recommend by the Armstrongs Charlotte NC USA
