Abstract painting This course will introduce you to the mixing technique of abtract painting. Abstract paintings look simple but are defined by the decisions the artist makes. Like choosing materials, decide what colours to use, and how the surface ditribution looks like. This course learn you step by step how to create an image. How does it work? Groups are small (max 8 persons). You learn how to choose materials, which steps to take to get a satisfying result, how to choose of (mixed) colours, how to distribute the surface, and where to put your accents to make it your personal work of art. We work with acryl on linen and paper and cotton for the collage. We use a 35cmx35cm surface, which is not too small and not too big and will give a tangible result that is easy to take home!

5.00We signed up for the course at very short notice and Annelies was very nice and accepted us spontaneously. It was really great, a very inspiring place and Annelies gave us a good introduction and encouragement, as neither of us had ever painted abstractly before.

5.00First of all, the location is just amazing right in the centre of the historic city of Acqui Terme. It was very refreshing to do something with your hands during the holiday. Good for the mindset! Lastly a big thanks to lovely host Annelies for the great experience. 100% recommend!

5.00Our group of friends / couples enjoyed the workshop so much. The location is great for visiting and there was availability when we visited. (book in advance!) The workshop taught me how easy it is to start when you follow the steps step by step, have the right tools at hand, and have excellent support from the instructors. We had a great group and all the participants enjoyed the workshop. Also the location alone is worth the visit.
