Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center
The largest mosque in the country , and the only one that captures unique interactions between Islam and world cultures.Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is one of the most beautiful mosques in the world after the holly mosques , everything is wonderful , clean and architecturally amazing. Beautiful white marble (with inlaid floral design), the largest carpet in the world, stunning chandeliers, beautiful water pools, 82 domes, exquisite design and yet peaceful & worthy of prayer. The open-door policy invites tourists and celebrants from all around the world who can witness the spectacular onion-top domes, the reflective pools that engulf the courtyard and the iconic prayer hall, which not only overflows with blissful sunlight, but also houses the world’s biggest chandelier and carpet, both meticulously handmade. Be sure to spot the calligraphy encircling the hollows of the domes, etched with verses from the Quran and painted with gold leaves in An-Naskh lettering.
Emirates Heritage Village
Heritage Village in Abu Dhabi is a model of an Emirati village which exhibits the Bedouin lifestyle and heritage. This venue is an interesting cultural attraction and a place which can be one of the most family friendly destinations. There are no entry fees and is open to all guests. The place has innumerable attractions like the Bedouin tents set up with campfires, and piping hot Arabic tea. The camels, Arabian horses and goats are put on a display, this can be a pleasing sight to the kids in the family! The heritage village also hosts several artisan exhibits of the local arts like weaving or glass blowing. Herein you can also enjoy shopping in a traditional market which sells a variety of products like handmade soap, silver jewellery and traditional clothing. Also, some stalls offer the traditional henna or mehndi with a perfect Arabic blend. Credit: Creative Commons/FritzDaCat Credit: Creative Commons/FritzDaCat The museum at the Heritage Village is one of the favourites of curious travellers. It showcases the old Abu Dhabi before the oil boom. This place is the most recommended venue to visit; it is a memoir of the journey of Abu Dhabi from an ethnic Arabic shell to such a city in boom and bloom and that too in a minimal time span! The museum also has kept copies of Quran, traditional jewellery, and weapons of the early era. You can witness the replica of the demonstration of a functioning falaj irrigation system that is used in areas of the UAE for the irrigation of the palm groves. Adjoining to this site lies the turquoise blue watered beach which will keep you engaged at its view for a couple of hours. You can visit the picturesque Corinche which lies nearby that will give you ample opportunities to click pictures. Also, on the campus of the Heritage Village, there is a restaurant in which you can savour the Arabic flavours, food and drinks. The venue is a must-see for travellers who intend to explore the roots of the region they travel or the tourists who want to have a peaceful yet exciting getaway with family or a group of friends!

Mr. Sadik was absolutely professional and a wonderful tour guide. He took us to the best places in Abu Dhabi. A wonderful Arabic lunch was a plus. He knew the ins and outs of all the different places and where to park. Couldn’t have done this without him.

Mazhar was a well experienced and humble tour guide. We couldn't have asked for a better person to take us. The Mosque's architecture was worth witnessing in person to completely take in the handiwork and craftsmanship involved in constructing it, the same goes for the Palace. The private nature of the tour, as it was limited to small groups, was exactly the experience that we were after. Would highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to experience Abu Dhabi

We book in advance private tour for 6 people with the agent, and in last day announce us that will have a guide speaking in English. We said ok. Guide drove very slow and lost lots of time from our tour. He didn't even respect the itinerary, and spoke very bad with people from our group. Refuse multiple times to stop somewhere for pictures, refuse to get us where we wanted to visit, telling ud that doesn't worth to visit that place. Even the Heritage Palace and Etihad Towers. Worse tour ever with worst driver/guide ever, with a very bad English and bad manners. The guy that we book the tour promise us a good tour, and we agreed to pay extra if we want to visit something extra and he was agree with that. But the guide was so unfriendly and with very bad comportament. Definitely stay away from this company!
