MDI e-Bikes proudly serves Acadia National Park! Meet us at the Hulls Cove Visitor Center parking lot. 25 Visitor Center Road, Bar Harbor Maine in Acadia National Park. The carriage roads begin on the far side of the parking lot. After booking your reservation online we meet at 8:30 am on your rental day. Rental Includes Specialized e-Bike, helmet, map, rear fender storage bag, lock and instruction. Enjoy exploring miles of carriage roads by e-Bike on your self guided tour! MDI e-Bikes features Class 1 step-through pedal assist e-Bikes that are compliant with Acadia National Park regulations. You will be riding premium Specialized Turbo Como 4.0 IGH e-Bikes, the best available for rent in Bar Harbor. $5500 retail cost. These e-Bikes are smooth riding with front fork and seat suspension. The extended range battery allows worry free exploration. The Gates carbon belt drive ensures a reliable, quiet drivetrain. Equipped with gravel tires that are tailored to the carriage road terrain. 5.00It is a lot of fun and the e-bike allows you to go further into Acadia than you could on foot. We explored 28 miles in a few short hours. Patrick also was super helpful even helping us re-schedule beforehand due to questionable weather- loved it!

5.00Patrick is totally hands on with his bikes, which are the best we’ve ever ridden. Incredible on steep grades. He gave us a thorough tutorial on the bikes and had us do a practice loop so he could be sure they were properly fitted. He then provided us with a map & route that suited our level of experience & sense of adventure. What an amazing day on the carriage trails in Acadia!!

5.00The owner was great! Lots of help with routing and how to use the bikes. He was really friendly! It was our first time on ebikes and it was so easy! We had a great time exploring! We saw several other groups at the same time, and the Specialized bikes we rode looked newer and nicer. The storage bag on the bike was a good size. I bought 4 shirts at the Jordan Pond House I had plenty of room for them, a map, water bottle, bug spray, phone and a few misc things. It is a great way to see a lot of the park! Tips: make reservations for lunch at Jordan Pond House to avoid the wait, bring bug spray, I wish my phone had been on a lanyard around my neck to take more pics, it was beautiful!

5.00We give Patrick an A+. This was our favorite event at Acadia. Patrick assured everyone and set up all the bikes for maximum enjoyment. The bikes were exceptional quality and cared for. He mapped out the trips for each participants skill and comfort level. Best experience during our trip.

5.00Patrick was very organized and was ready for the group when we arrived in the morning. The bikes were in excellent condition and he made sure everyone was properly fitted for the bikes and helmets before we headed out on the carriage roads. We road to Jordan’s house and arrived about 10:30a. The restaurant opened at 11a and we enjoyed a wonderful lunch out on the lawn before biking back our starting point at Hulls Cove visitor center. I would highly recommend this company!

5.00E bikes are great way to see Acadia national Park via its carriage roads. You get to see a lot of the park and get some exercise but you cover a lot more ground than if you are walking, running or riding a regular bike. My wife and I spent a week in Maine with a few days in Portland and the rest of the time in the Bar Harbor area and we both said the E bike ride was the highlight of the trip. The owner of the E bike business is in his second year and he was both helpful and friendly. I’m glad we got to support the small business.
