Designed for guests with limited mobility or who use a mobility aid, our accessible Cinque Terre & Pisa shore excursion from Livorno is the perfect way to visit this famous stretch of the Ligurian coastline if you’re not as spry as you once were.
The villages on our itinerary—Portovenere, Vernazza, and Corniglia—are not only charming but also easy to get around in because the ground is fairly level and stairs are limited or nonexistent. We can also get quite close to them by vehicle, which is an important aspect of an accessible tour of the Cinque Terre, where vehicles other than those of residents are not permitted to enter the villages.
Your friendly, professional, English-speaking driver is an expert at navigating the Cinque Terre, taking the panoramic road to travel between the villages. You will have the option to take the ferry if you prefer. The view of the villages and the dramatic, green cliffs from the sea is something to behold! Stop briefly in Pisa at the end of the day.

Portovenere
After about an hour and forty-five minutes of driving, we will arrive in Portovenere, where you will have about an hour of free time. Portovenere is perhaps the best-kept secret of the Ligurian coast. This sweet fishing village sits on a beautiful little bay, much like Portofino, its more famous neighbor further up the coast. For scenic beauty, Porto Venere is unrivaled in terms of both natural and man-made elements. If the dramatic cliffs rising from the shimmering Ligurian Sea are not enough to make you feel like you’re in a fairy tale, the imposing church from the 13th century on the promontory surely will. Kindly note that
Corniglia
Kindly note that the stated duration of this itinerary item includes 45-60 minutes of driving time from Portovenere to Corniglia, and free time of 30-45 minutes in Corniglia. Sitting high on a cliff, Corniglia is unique amongst the Cinque Terre villages; it's the only village that doesn’t sit at the level of the sea. In Corniglia, you get a sense of the medieval past of the place as well as jaw-dropping panoramas up and down the coast.

The person in the wheelchair needs to be able to transfer into a van from the road. If the person is able to do that, it was a very good excursion. The tour guide/driver was very good and told us a lot of details about the areas and drove safely.

Breathtaking!!!…and life preserving. Never experienced such beauty before. Claudia literally saved our lives as she navigated the downpours, the literal clouds, all while traversing the hundreds of switchbacks on very narrow roads to get us to our destinations. Thank you Claudia for making our dreams come true!
