This walking tour offers you the opportunity to explore the Acropolis Monuments with a licensed tour guide. Whether you arrive in Athens in the afternoon or morning and you want to visit the Acropolis when the weather is more cooler, and the crowds are starting to wane, this tour is for you. Persons under 18 years old they must need their passports to ensure their age as they have a discounted entrance ticket, a photocopy on mobile device will work too.
EU citizens under 25 years old they should bring their passports too, a photo copy on a mobile device or passport or ID will work
Entrance fees are included (unless you book without entrance tickets) - if you choose without you will need to book them on line at the official website asap since they can be sold out days in advance, if still tickets are sold please inform us to book them for you in advance
Infants must sit on laps - Strollers are not allowed within Acropolis, you can leave your stroller at the meeting point in our premises at Porinou 5.

Please make sure this tour includes approximately one mile of walking uphill/downhill on uneven surfaces and 200 steps (both ways).
Guests are advised to wear flat and comfortable walking shoes. Large backpacks and oversized purses are not permitted inside the site. Long queues and waiting might occur and every effort is made to coordinate the best timings for visits.

5.00If you are in Athens, you must see the Acropolis. Taking this tour is so worth it! Our guide Aphrodite was so knowledgeable, friendly, and enthusiastic! Her commentary allowed us to understand the timeline and history of the monuments we were looking at without having to juggle a guidebook or consult the internet (we had no service at the top of the hill anyway). She showed us photos of what the monuments looked like historically, and she was super receptive to questions. We hadn’t initially signed up for the acropolis museum tour, but we added it halfway through because Aphrodite was such a great guide! If you go to see the acropolis, the acropolis museum is 100% a MUST see, to contextualize what you see AND to see replicas / partial originals of parts of the Parthenon / Erechtheion that have been destroyed or moved for preservation. Our guide Aphrodite made the museum exhibits so much more interesting! She kept the pacing reasonable and explained who the figures in each frieze or pediment represented. Thanks for a great tour!

5.00APHRODITI(SP) our Guide was great and we would enjoy any tour she led. She shared enough information to educate us but not too much. Welcomed questions and had answers. Pace was perfect as well as length. Easy to understand and hear. One family added the museum tour because she was such a pleasure.

5.00Nice tour with a skilled guide who spoke good and clear English. He was a trained archaeologist and also a skilled educator. It is best to arrive at a cool time because it can get very hot and it is difficult to find shadow on top of the Acropolis. No café or toilet after passing the ticket check, so you have to have done it before.
