This is the second time Viator has stung us with complicated so-called tickets. THEY ARE NOT TICKETS!!!! Also, you pay US$44 each, when the actual entry ticket is just €20 (US$23): total rip off promising ‘skip the line’. Total sting. They send you an email with a link. You click the link and it gives a nice looking voucher: it’s worth nothing and does nothing. They say they send you ‘tickets’ via WhatsApp. Nothing arrives. We ended up just buying tickets at the museum. US$88 wasted. NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE TRIPADVISOR TO BOOK TICKETS USING VIATOR!!!!!!!!!!

What is the point of going through an organization that takes its commission when you can buy directly from the museum's website? P.S.: How does this private organization become number 1 among attractions to do in Athens with so few reviews???

The museum is easily walkable and filled with interesting Greek pieces from thousands of years ago. It was very interesting and well-laid-out with informational plaques about every piece. It was fascinating to see objects from before Jesus's time! Only one section of the museum doesn't allow photos. It was marked with a sign at one side but was unclear where that section ended, so I just asked before I resumed taking photos, but I saw a couple get admonished for not knowing that they were still in that area - I think a few more signs would be helpful. Be aware that you can only use the ticket once at each entrance (the main museum and the archeological dig beneath), which was a minor problem when I went to the gift shop and tried to re-enter the museum. I had checked with an employee if I could do so but maybe he didn't fully understand me; thankfully, the employee at the entrance reluctantly allowed me back in. If you're in Athens I recommend you carve out at least two hours to enjoy this museum!

This ticket only package is good. The tour instruction may inform us in advance to bring ear phones to the museum and take advantage of free audio guide. We tried the guide and learn a lot.

Never got my tickets because they insist on sending them through whatapps and I don't have the app. I can't talk to them otherwise. I am very angry because I paid for an activity that I could never access.
