Alex was a fun and informative guide and ADIS did a fine job driving. We love learning the history and culture of the places to which we travel and Alex was a fount of information! We visited museums and palaces and had a delicious traditional Ethiopian meal and coffee. The market was enormous and we enjoyed visiting the women doing pottery. All in all a lovely day!

What a knowledgeable and professional guide Elias is—and what an incredibly safe, friendly (and fantastic female!) driver Atsede is! I had the absolute best time in their company. We covered all the major places I wanted to visit and more, and I came away with a real sense of the city. It was wonderful to get up to speed on Addis, especially since so much has changed since my last visit in 2018. I highly recommended Elias and Atsede and their tour company. My booking was last minute but the tour company were very swift in communication and setup.

Booking was easy. They met me at the airport and arrived even earlier than agreed. Great guide and an amazing trip. Highly recommended! P.S. My guide, Desale, helped me solve an issue outside of the tour program, for which I am very grateful!

I cannot possibly put in to words how special this tour was. Our guide Alex and driver Adis provided a perfect day. Alex has a passion for his city and it was great to see him get excited about things he has seen many times. Our tour was scheduled to be around 8 hours, we arrived back at our hotel 9.5 hours later. We visited all of the highlights and his knowledge made them come alive. At the end of the day we ended at Unity Park and had a lovely walk with both Alex and Adis. An added bonus was Alex’s love for birds and we enjoyed looking through his scope. We started the tour as clients and ended as friends. Adis did an incredible job. There seems to be no driving rules in the city and all you need to do is avoid an accident - mission accomplished!

I had a blast during the one day trip to Addis Ababa, with Kiru and Addis . We spent the day exploring cultural (Menelik Palace, National Museum, Bata Mariam Church) and shopping sites (Shero Meda, Mercato Market, and local antique store) in Addis and also enjoying the traditional cuisines and beverage of Ethiopia. The pick up was convenient, straight at the hotel. Also, if you're a gemstone lover, the Ethiopian opals are exquisite. The opals are worth the hunt. Overall, I really enjoyed the experience and worth going again with Addis Ababa Authentic Private City Tour.
