We did the 4x4 Tour around Kabouga, which is a very remote section of Addo Elephant National Park. This park is rarely explored and its likely that 99% of visitors of Addo have never heard of it. It is definitely worth a trip. The area is a lot more untouched wilderness than the main park which - despite being quite large - is clearly laid our and feels like a park. We also did a tour around the main park and a boat cruise with Andrew (boat: Stampede). Both days were really enjoyable. Andrew is a really nice guy who is respectfully to humans and animals alike. He has a huge amount of experience and can read animalrs very well and knows when to give a grumpy buffallo a bit more space. Andrew also has a lot of interesting stories to tell and knows a lot about the animals and the environment. He really does go the extra mile to make sure you have a good experience and enjoy your time in the Eastern Cape. We'd thoroughly recommend Alan Tours and Andrew in particular.
