It is predominantly red wines. It is not stated on any advertising material. No food is served with the wine only a shared platter for lunch at one place. Have a good breakfast before you leave.

Jason our guide for the day was fantastic! A real font of knowledge and so much energy!! Wonderful scenic drive out to the Barossa, stopped at the Big Rocking horse and climbed it for the view..then onto the Whispering wall and into the Barossa for wine tasting, stone baked Pizza for lunch, beer tasting and chocolate tasting, up to a scenic look out and a stroll through Tanunda. Did so much on the day but never felt rushed. Was a Great Day.

This was a fantastic day out. We took visitors from the UK who enjoyed themselves thoroughly. They still talk about the trip. Our driver was very friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend this trip to anyone and will probably go on it again myself.

While in Adelaide, my partner, Sandy and I were looking for a way to enjoy a Winery tour of the beautiful Barosa Valley at a good price. So it was great to find Groovy Grape!!! Being picked up by Jason, our Groovy guide, we were soon on our way into the Adelaide Hills with Jason showing us the sights of Adelaide on the way. Our first stop was at the Big Rocking Horse at Gumeracha, a really Groovy place! Then we continued on to the Whispering Wall, where due to the parabolic curve of the wall, we were amazed that we could hear each other from opposite ends of the wall. Then it was time for our first tasting at the beautiful Kies winery featuring some outstanding whites and reds. This has been a family run winery for six generations and a seventh is on the way! Our next stop was at Lambert Estate Winery for a delicious lunch, and a chance to taste more of the Barossa's beautiful wines. Back on the bus once again we had time for a visit to a boutique Brewery in Tanunda to try some very tasty German style beers. Thank you so much Jason for a truly Groovy day!!!
