What To Expect
Mount Lofty Summit
Look over Adelaide City and the panoramic views. This area was discovered by Mathew Flinders in 1802. Weather permitting as can be very cold and fogged in.
Drive past Thorngrove Manor. Built to look like a baroque castle, this lavish, high-concept hotel is 1.5 km from the Mount Lofty Botanical Gardens and 9 km from the 835-hectare Belair National Park.

5.00This was an amazing day. The bus driver was so knowledgeable and adapted information along the way to the guests on board. Was not just a drive to the paddle boat it was informative and picturesque. The cruise itself was relaxing with great staff on board. The food was quality, fresh and hot. Good options to choose from. Would highly recommend this day out to anyone

3.00We had a great tour guide/van driver of Roy who went beyond doing ‘just his job’ he was knowledgeable about the region and extremely comical with it. Very safe with his driving and checked on everyone. The stream boat was good to get a taste of the Murray river. Captain also was knowledgeable of the areas down the river however it would’ve been nice to see staff in a uniform of such, even a top with their company name or brand in it rather than what it looked like the clothes they picked up off the floor from the day before that they’d worn. Food was ok for the type of trip. Nice to go to mt lofty and Hahndorf also.

5.00Great communication from Roy the day prior to the tour re pick up arrangements, turned up on time on the day of the tour. Changed the order of the tour a bit as the view from the hill over the city would be obscured by mist. First stop was for coffee and a rocky road at a strawberry farm, then through the hills to Murray Bridge and the lunch cruise. The meal was "sit down" rather than a buffet with a menu presented before the boat set off. The food was excellent, I had roast chicken, and the scenery was fantastic on a sunny day. After the boat trip, we headed back for an afternoon stop at Hahndorf. the village is ok but it's a bit of a tourist trap. Drop offs back in the city were on schedule to end a thoroughly enjoyable day.

5.00Very enjoyable, the views at Mt Lofty over Adelaide were amazing. A lovely walk at Hahndorf. Could do with more time. The boat trip along the Murray with lunch was enjoyable. Recommend the fish and chips and apple crumble for lunch on board. Phil was a brilliant driver and very entertaining.
