Our 8PM tour will be available with the VIP option of HELLVISION™! We use handheld projectors to bring the bloody images of New Orleans out of the archives and onto the streets for your tour.
Tours go out rain or shine. Intoxicated travelers will not be permitted.

5.00Our tour guide, John, is an energetic and engaging storyteller. You can tell he knows the local history and did not spare any of the gruesome details. I really appreciated how he dispelled common misconceptions about New Orleans legends. I would go on another HH tour in a heartbeat.

I recommend the Hell Vision upgrade, as it was interesting to put faces to names when the guide was talking about certain people, and to see historical pictures of the places we visited. Other reviews mention the projector being shaky, but it was not bad at all (what do you expect from a portable, handheld projector?). My only critique would be that it wasn't very scary, it was more historical. Our guide, Elaine, was enthusiastic and extremely knowledgeable. She had a way of making the stories come to life. Thanks, Elaine!

5.00This was one of the best walking tours I have been on! Our guide Jeremy was extremely knowledgeable about the area and took careful time to answer all of our questions (even the really random or weird ones). His knowledge and passion for New Orleans was clear from the moment we checked in to the tour. Since the tour was about 2 hours, he also regularly checked in with the group to see if folks needed to rest or use the bathroom. If you are looking for the perfect mix of history, lived experience, and humor, be sure to book this tour!!
