I loved that the Professor gave us the spooky history, but focused on the history rather than rumors. It was fun and funny, but I also found myself tearing up a number of times at the discussion of the tragedies and triumphs of New Orleans. It was fantastic!

Our tour guide was the Professor, he was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of insight into the stories not often found online. His way of telling the stories was very entertaining and engaging. We would definitely recommend this tour to friends and family!

So much fun. Our tour guide, Jeremy, was amazing. He was so funny and knowledgeable, but also good at bringing the spooky vibe to the stories he was telling. He gave us great recommendations for jazz clubs after the tour.

If you’re looking for the typical, watered-down "ghost tour," keep walking. But if you want the realest, most gripping stories you’ve ever heard, this is the only tour in New Orleans that matters. Imagine this: The air is thick, caught right between a sultry summer night and a sharp winter chill. A slight breeze kicks up as you meet your group at the gates of Armstrong Park. This isn't just a walk; it’s an awakening. Why This Tour Hits Different You’ll start where the soul of the city began—amidst the history of slavery, sacred rituals, and the legends who played the very buildings you’re standing in front of. You’ll find yourself standing in awe, wondering why your high school history books left out the most important truths. The highlights include: The Truth of Voodoo: Go beyond the Hollywood myths to learn about the real Voodoo Queens and the spiritual heartbeat of NOLA. The Price of Ego: Hear the chilling tale of the famous actor who thought his fortune could buy him anything—and found out he was wrong. True Crime: If you’re lucky, you’ll hear the visceral details of a true murder that happened right in the shadow of the park. The Verdict This is, hands down, the best walking tour in New Orleans. It is raw, authentic, and masterfully told. It doesn't rely on jump scares because the history itself is enough to give you chills. Pro Tip: When you book, make sure you ask for Jeremy. He is a hierophant and a master storyteller who doesn't just recite facts—he brings the past back to life. Stop scrolling and book it now. You’ll never look at the Crescent City the same way again.

I have been thinking n different tours in the area so I was expecting more history and murder and haunting, but instead I heard about our guides own experiences and experiences. A little disappointed, but would recommend.

Jon was an amazing tour guide! Even though they separated us into the wrong group and we technically went on the wrong tour that didn’t have the Hell’s Vision it was still a great experience without it. He really kept us engaged and the tour was quick and easy. I would definitely recommend. Just be sure to make the staff aware that you purchased the tour with graphics prior to starting or you might end up in the wrong group lol. Either way it will be worth it.

Great tour, I learned a lot. I am a local resident, but a new one. I walk the French Quarter multiple times per week but now I know more about the history of some of the buildings. Jeremy was knowledgeable, personable, and relatable.

This was a fun experience and not really your typical walking tour. John, our very enthusiastic and entertaining guide, had a series of about 6-7 stories certain stops along the way. No commentary between the way, but without everyone having headsets or something would have been hard to manage without disrupting others. Still fun activity and good excuse to have a guided walk and listen to some dark stories.
