To obtain this certification, you have to be Open Water certified first. Effectively, this certification will go further in the diving activity and brings you more experience under the supervision of a professional. This is designed to advance your diving, so you can start this certification just after your Open Water course.
With the Advanced Open Water, you will gain more confidence and learn more professional technics that will allow you more experienced dives in future.
You will be able to try on different specialities and find yourself underwater. You will plan your learning path with your instructor by choosing from a long list of Adventure Dives.
This is the only certification that will make you specialise in different domain and allow you to acquire further knowledge after your Open Water certification. It is essential for people who are willing to discover more about diving.
*For this certification, you need to be at least 12 years old and already Open Water certified.

With the Advanced Open Water, you will gain more confidence and learn more professional technics that will allow you more experienced dives in future. You will be able to try on different specialities and find yourself underwater. You will plan your learning path with your instructor by choosing from a long list of Adventure Dives. The Deep Adventure Dive will learn and train you on how to plan dives, how to deal with the physiological effects and challenges of deeper scuba diving. The Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive refines your compass navigation skills and helps you better navigate using kick-cycles, visual landmarks and time. The 3 other skills you will develop are related to your preferences of learning (photography, buoyancy control, fish identification, exploring wrecks...). You will surely enjoy going further into the underwater world !

5.00Kaka is an amazing instructor and he is very nice,warm hearted and professional in teaching skills. I really enjoyed the course of the advanced open water diver before new year. He observed me and teach me very detailly, which I really appreciate and together we see the manta which is really thrilling！Also, Laurien is really a supportive guide and she always check my situation from time to time, and she is absolutely a very good marine creature finder. Best dives I have ever had, I will miss the time in lembogan island together with my instructor Kaka and guide Laurien. Hope to see you all again in Dive concept and happy new year!!!

5.00After getting my open water at Dive Concepts Lembongan a few weeks earlier, I wanted to get back as soon as possible for my Advanced open water and specialties! Without a doubt I wanted to return to Dive Concepts on Lembongan due to their good instructors, friendliness and amazing dive sites. This time Hugo was my instructor, with whom I felt very comfortable and always took the time to explain everything properly. I got the opportunity to practice everything often and he had many good tips and tricks to improve. Safety and fun are paramount and everything is well taken care of. A nice cup of coffee to start the day with and fun on board. I hope to come back soon!

5.00I pursue to OW and AOW courses in December 2025, solo. Just happened that it is a low peak season as it could rain consistently, i became the only person to start with the OW course. Hugo is my instructor and he is very patient, passionate to what he is doing, very experienced and good observation to every details when you are diving. He spent time to explaining and giving comments after every dive, give clear instructions and briefings and ensure he tuned to the save frequency for your better understanding, and you will feel nothing safer to dive with Hugo. The community in dive concept lembongan is very active and friendly, i feel comfortable and motivated within the 5 days to be play around with them. It is very motivated for me to plan for my next courses with them. Looking forward for it to be happened. 🫰🏼

5.00This was my second time diving with Dive Concepts (I completed my Open Water certification with them in Tulamben last year), and once again they exceeded expectations. A truly outstanding scuba operator—highly recommended for their safety, professionalism, and reliability. From pre-dive planning to post-dive follow-up, every arrangement was smooth, clear, and completely stress-free. This time, my boys completed the AOW while I did the Perfect Buoyancy course with dive instructor and master Hugo, and the experience was exceptional. Hugo is an excellent, patient, and highly knowledgeable instructor. He took the time to break down each concept clearly, explaining the theory in a way that made perfect sense before guiding us through the practical application during the dives. His methodical and attentive teaching made a huge difference—thanks to his guidance, my buoyancy control improved dramatically, and I now feel far more confident and comfortable underwater. If you’re considering doing your education dives in Lembongan, I strongly recommend choosing Dive Concepts and requesting Hugo as your instructor. You’ll be in very capable hands and will come away with skills that truly elevate your diving. 👍

5.00An Outstanding First Dive Experience I had an amazing experience with this diving course — our instructor Silvère was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and made me feel safe and confident from the very beginning; the lessons were well-structured, the equipment was in excellent condition, and every dive felt exciting and inspiring, making this course the perfect introduction to the underwater world and something I would highly recommend to anyone interested in learning to dive.

5.00I took both my open water and advanced open water at dive concept lembongan. The staff att both the front desk and in the boat have been amazing. My instructors Sara and Silvère took really good care of me and opened and showed the world of diving for me. They made it fun and informative and me wanting more adventures under the surface.
