To obtain this certification, you have to be Open Water certified first. Effectively, this certification will go further in the diving activity and brings you more experience under the supervision of a professional. This is designed to advance your diving, so you can start this certification just after your Open Water course.
With the Advanced Open Water, you will gain more confidence and learn more professional technics that will allow you more experienced dives in future.
You will be able to try on different specialities and find yourself underwater. You will plan your learning path with your instructor by choosing from a long list of Adventure Dives.
This is the only certification that will make you specialise in different domain and allow you to acquire further knowledge after your Open Water certification. It is essential for people who are willing to discover more about diving.
*For this certification, you need to be at least 12 years old and already Open Water certified.

With the Advanced Open Water, you will gain more confidence and learn more professional technics that will allow you more experienced dives in future. You will be able to try on different specialities and find yourself underwater. You will plan your learning path with your instructor by choosing from a long list of Adventure Dives. The Deep Adventure Dive will learn and train you on how to plan dives, how to deal with the physiological effects and challenges of deeper scuba diving. The Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive refines your compass navigation skills and helps you better navigate using kick-cycles, visual landmarks and time. The 3 other skills you will develop are related to your preferences of learning (photography, buoyancy control, fish identification, exploring wrecks...). You will surely enjoy going further into the underwater world !

5.00This was my second time diving with Dive Concepts (I completed my Open Water certification with them in Tulamben last year), and once again they exceeded expectations. A truly outstanding scuba operator—highly recommended for their safety, professionalism, and reliability. From pre-dive planning to post-dive follow-up, every arrangement was smooth, clear, and completely stress-free. This time, my boys completed the AOW while I did the Perfect Buoyancy course with dive instructor and master Hugo, and the experience was exceptional. Hugo is an excellent, patient, and highly knowledgeable instructor. He took the time to break down each concept clearly, explaining the theory in a way that made perfect sense before guiding us through the practical application during the dives. His methodical and attentive teaching made a huge difference—thanks to his guidance, my buoyancy control improved dramatically, and I now feel far more confident and comfortable underwater. If you’re considering doing your education dives in Lembongan, I strongly recommend choosing Dive Concepts and requesting Hugo as your instructor. You’ll be in very capable hands and will come away with skills that truly elevate your diving. 👍

5.00An Outstanding First Dive Experience I had an amazing experience with this diving course — our instructor Silvère was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and made me feel safe and confident from the very beginning; the lessons were well-structured, the equipment was in excellent condition, and every dive felt exciting and inspiring, making this course the perfect introduction to the underwater world and something I would highly recommend to anyone interested in learning to dive.

5.00I took both my open water and advanced open water at dive concept lembongan. The staff att both the front desk and in the boat have been amazing. My instructors Sara and Silvère took really good care of me and opened and showed the world of diving for me. They made it fun and informative and me wanting more adventures under the surface.

5.00What do you say? Since I started spending my open water with Silvère I want to live here and spend my days with this great team. Silvère accompanied me throughout this training and passed on his passion for the seabed, each more beautiful than the last. Thank you to him and thank you to the whole DIve Concept Lembongan team. In short, I recommend 2000% to come dive here especially with Silvère if you want to improve your English!

5.00What an experience! What a magnificent seabed! But especially what an instructor! SILVÈRE! THANK YOU! Competent, reassuring and... dangerously attractive in his deep blue jumpsuit. After the fact I don't know if my oxygen level was dropping because of my breathing, or at every crossroads of sight. I recommend Silverus as an instructor with his eyes closed, even if closing your eyes would clearly be missing something... Many thanks for this incredible Advanced training!

5.00Great diving center! Professional team and little care! All the comfort and safety is there! Both on the boat and at the office! No worries about the material!! The “tropical guesthouse” is glued to the club, superb cabin and outdoor bathroom without hot water but given the heat it is not disturbing! And all my thanks go to SILVERE , French instructor, attentive , very pedagogue , reassuring , preventive . It allowed us to pass advanced and 4 certifications!!! Thank youiiii I recommend this center with my eyes closed, for diving with DIVE CONCEPT LEMBONGAN and Tulamben.
