As we cruise out, enjoy views oof Sunset Key, Fort Zachary Taylor, the Coast Guard harbor, Mallory Square, and Sand Key Lighthouse. Seven miles offshore, the world-famous USNS General Hoyt S. Vandenberg awaits. At 520 feet long, it’s the second largest artificial reef in the world and a bucket-list wreck dive for experienced divers. With diving depths ranging from 50-105ft, the Vandenberg offers towering radar dishes, massive swim throughs, and structures now covered in coral and sponges. Schools of fish, turtles, barracudas, and the occasional Goliath grouper call this wreck home.
