Visit the Gorreana Tea Plantations, the oldest tea plantations in Europe. See the only tea fields in Europe and while on the plantation, you can taste the tea for free and stroll through the fields.
Then head to the Furnas to explore the valley and dive into the thermal springs to relax and connect with nature.
After visiting the thermas, stop for lunch at the Furnas. Try the famous mixed meat cooked or many of the other menu options.
After lunch, visit the lagoon and stroll a little to appreciate the surrounding area.
After the visit to the lagoon, it is time to go to Vila Franca to see the world famous island.
Finish your Ponta Delgada tour with a visit to the pineapple plantations.

5.00Miguel was very knowledgeable and friendly! We got a good amount of time at the park to see the lovely garden. We didn't go in the hot spring. But they do have shower and changing room if you want to go in. The park was 17 euro extra. The lunch was meat platter, but you can also opt to choose other menu items. Or bring your own lunch

5.00It is a good way to experience Furnace and the whole area around - soak in the hot springs, test the famous local dish prepared using geothermal heat, see the tea plantation and picturesque lagoons. Well organized, no rush, many things to see. Our guide Andre was very helpful and knowledgeable.

1.00The tourguide dod mot bring us to our stops we went 5 minutes instead 45 to the tea shop no plantation, then 45 minutes swim at terra nostra instead of 1.5 hours then 30 minutes at another place then the caldeira and no food out of the caldeira but a restaurant for 34 euros restaurant the park cost 35 euro's and no tickets where provided. We have proof then the merchant lied the customers where lying and reported us to viator!! Then viator did not give us a refund, we did not swim at the caldeira and the plantation tasting was paid. A shirts tour with no stops 5 minutes at the mirafouro and a ruined day. This guys should be our of bussiness as they lie to and about their customers. Viator itself is a same if you have a real problem they don't help you but echo the seller
