Visit the Gorreana Tea Plantations, the oldest tea plantations in Europe. See the oldest tea fields in Europe.
Then head to the Furnas to explore the valley and dive into the thermal springs to relax and connect with nature.
After visiting the thermas, stop for lunch at the Furnas. Try the famous mixed meat cooked or many of the other menu options.
After lunch, visit the lagoon and stroll a little to appreciate the surrounding area.
After the visit to the lagoon, it is time to go to Vila Franca to see the world famous island.
Finish your Ponta Delgada tour with a visit to the pineapple plantations.
NOTE: PICKUPS START AT 8:45. Please be ready at this time at the designated place.

The only fields of tea in Europe. We are the only region in Europe that produces tea. You can try the tea for free and roam around the fields.

5.00The excursion with our guide Andre today was very informative and varied. There were three of us 1 x Canada, 2x Germany and Andre could easily adapt to the different languages. Would book a tour again at any time.

5.00If you are into natural wonders and some history of the islands: this trip is for you! Our guide made this experience fun and was very knowledgeable about his beloved island. He gave us statistical information on the economy, the beauty of the island and the volcanoes and “furnas” we saw. Quite te adventure for the short time our cruise stop allowed. They were on time and delivered us back to the cruise with no issues.
Andre was a terrific guide. Very knowledgeable and friendly, with a good sense of humor. Great itinerary, too. Recommend

5.00You are going to see a lot of great scenery, which is the main attraction. The Tea Plantation and the Pineapple Farm are nice but it is the views that made the trip.
