Jody - the Capitan and Eli your guide had us enthralled and enthralled for the entire 90 mins. First the safety briefing, no need with Jodys skill and a boat that felt like it was a jet plane nothing was getting in our way. We were very lucky, mother nature turned up the volume and left us pumping, three pods of dolphins, one with a very small newborn and another couple clearly on their honeymoon had no interest in us. Throw in seals, osprey and Eli's knowledge it was a memorable trip. For an added thrill sit up front!

Absolute value for money. Fast and enjoyable transport with just enough time to get in touch with the island. More than enough useful and interesting information about Perth city, Swan river, Fremantle and the island provided on both tours. To get full experience of Rottnest island you probably need to book 2-3 nights. That’s my plan for next time.

Rottnest Express Adventure Boat Tour — equal parts wildlife documentary and extreme sport We did the Rottnest speed boat adventure cruise today with my husband, our 13-year-old and our 9-year-old, and WOW! What an experience. First, let’s talk about Max, our tour guide, zoologist, wildlife whisperer, comedian, historian and (as it turns out) bar-staff on the ferry home. This man is a national treasure. He had us laughing and learning nonstop as we saw sea lions, a 70-year-old active osprey nest (with actual ospreys flying around it), and a huge pod of dolphins that felt like a real-life David Attenborough moment. He also shared the Indigenous history of Wadjemup (Rottnest Island) with warmth, respect and clarity. Then we bumped into him later working the bar like it was no big deal. Multitalented, brilliant, and genuinely lovely. Someone please give Max a raise. He’s absolutely smashing his job. Now… Jodie, our skipper. Look, she is clearly an incredibly experienced and highly skilled captain. HOWEVER… I sat near the front of the boat (despite being warned) and spent a good chunk of the ride feeling like I was starring in my own maritime disaster movie. I screamed. A lot. I had to apologise to the poor people in front of me for shrieking in their ears. That said, while I felt like I was going to die, Jodie rode the thin line between “thrilling roller-coaster” and “perfectly safe” like a true professional. It was fast, wild, and insanely fun, and I had the biggest grin on my face the entire time. Pro tip: sit further back if you enjoy living calmly 😂 The kids loved it. We loved it. It was exciting, funny, educational and completely unforgettable. If you’re going to Rottnest and you don’t do this tour, you are genuinely missing out. 10/10 — would scream again. 🚤🐬🦭

This fantastic boat ride was a heap of fun and allowed us to see the coastline of the whole island and beautiful wildlife we wouldn’t have seen otherwise. Highly, highly recommend this tour.

Absolutely awesome and unforgettable thrill ride with Lochie, amazing and super safe boat skipper and Eli, the ultra knowledgeable and humorous guide. Saw animals up close, learnt so much about the eco system and history and had non stop fun on the waves. Recommend this thrill ride for the best and breeziest way to beat the heat and see the island from the water.

Kate and Lachie were our tour guides. They were amazing and fun and you could tell they both knew lots about the island and the animals and plants situated there. We managed to see a whale, sea lions, so many dolphins and it was an awesome boat ride. Will definitely be coming back for this. Thanks for an awesome tour guys!

The ferry crossing was quite leisurely, with a stop at Freemantle to pick up more passengers, then faster to Rottnest. The optional speedboat trip around the island was the highlight of the trip, fast and wild over the waves, with commentary at the bays around the coast. I'd definitely recommend it, unless you suffer from sea sickness.

This will be a forever memory for all the right reasons. The boat is by its nature fun. but never pushed close to a limit of it capabilities so totally safe. As its a nature cruise its hard to predict or expect. But we were one of the luck ones. sadly no seals, But in 2 different places to pods of Dolphins and so close up to use. the videos and Camera shouts we got are grate. but I'm not one to watch through a Camera but the real life experience without distraction. The videos we got are so much better but nothing to what we actually saw without the phone in my hand. The guide even the Trainee one so good. Look at the pictures and imagine.
