This adventure begins with a 90-minute bus ride from Tromsø to the remote Tamokdalen area, where the wilderness camp is located. Upon arrival, you'll be warmly welcomed by your guide and equipped with thermal gear, including a suit, boots, gloves, and helmet. A safety briefing ensures you're ready and confident to navigate the snowmobile. Sharing the vehicle with another person, you'll alternate between driving and riding as a passenger, traversing snowy trails past mountains, valleys, frozen rivers, and lakes. Midway through the journey, a short break allows you to switch roles. After the snowmobiling tour, return to the camp to enjoy a warm meal in a traditional lavvu, an indigenous Sámi tent. Gather around the open fire with food and drinks, sharing stories of your Arctic adventure. During peak season, groups may alternate between the snowmobiling tour and the meal to ensure a more intimate experience. Once everyone reconvenes, board the bus back to Tromsø, taking with you unforgettable memories of an adrenaline-filled day exploring the Arctic wilderness.

Everything was just perfect and extremely safe, i would highly recommend this tour. Although it's expensive, it's a moneys worth tour. Camp Tamok was extremely beautiful beyond words. Truly a heaven on earth place...Please visit this place and do experience the snowmobile activity as it is super fun.

Scenery was beautiful and our guide was very knowledgeable & funny. So glad we decided to do the ride. Our guide give me a red head cover to take back to Minnesota. Takk skal du ha! I do think the pick up place should have signs so you know what group you’re to be in. Jane Murray
