One of the classic treks in Nepal, this route takes you to the base of some of the towering mountains peaks in the world. Along the way, you will spend at least a night in the famous base camp that offers the closest views of Annapurna I 8091m to Machapuchare (Fishtail) 6997m in the 360-degree angle.

Upon your arrival, our staff will receive you at the airport and take you to your hotel. Refresh and relax in the afternoon followed by welcome dinner in the evening. In the mean time, we introduce you with your trekking crews.

Today you will spend sightseeing around Kathmandu. You will visit four world heritage sites in Kathmandu Valley, namely Pashupatinath Temple, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambunath (Monkey Temple) and Bouddha Nath.
KATHMANDU TO POKHARA (820 M) by Tourist Bus - 6-7 hours

Your trekking guide will meet you at 6.00 AM in the morning and take you to the Tourist Bus Station. You will enjoy traveling alongside the Trisuli and Marshyangdi rivers and be passing by beautiful sceneries and rural villages on the way. Upon arrival at the Pokhara, we will check into our hotel, freshen up, then your guide will take you boating on Fewa Lake and a little walking around the Phewa Lake.
DRIVE TO NAYAPUL AND TREK TO ULLERI (2440M) , 1-hour driving and 4.5 hours walking.

After breakfast, we drive you to Nayapul and commence our Annapurna Base Camp Trek right way. We will pass by Birthanthi village where your trekking permits are checked. We then continue our trek observing beautiful scenery of the waterfalls and the forest. Crossing the Modi Khola river, we keep left for Thikhe Dhunga and Ulleri for our first over night in the rural Nepal. As we continue our trek, we will cross another river Bhurungdi river. After crossing two suspension bridges of Tikhedungda, we will climb almost 3000 steps of Ulleri hill and finally step-into the lodge we stay.
ULLERI TO GHOREPANI (2860M). 5-7 HOURS, 5-7 hours

From here the trail goes gradually up and the views of Annapurna South and Hiun Chuli are seen from the top of Ulleri. We pass by dense rhododendron and oak forests and the villages of Banthanti and Nangethani. When we arrive in Ghorepani village, we will have to trek for another 10 minutes to reach the ridge for beautiful panoramic views of the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna ranges. We will stay at a lodge here
HIKING UP TO POON HILL (3210M), THEN TREK TO TADAPANI 2650M 6-7 hours

You will be given a wakeup call to get ready for a hiking to Poon Hill (3210m). Poon Hill is an ideal sunrise spot to see the panoramic views of the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna ranges. Walking in the dark with help of torch light, we arrive at Poon Hill after 45 minutes. We will spend around half an hour, we head back down to our Guest House for breakfast. We then pack our bag-pack continues to trek to Tadapani (2650m) via Deurali and Banthanti. Along the trail, we will definitely see monkeys and some birds on the route. Tadapani itself a nice view point to see the close view of Annapurna South (7129m), Hiun Chuli (6440m) and The Fishtail

Today, we go downhill for 2 hours. We will cross a small stream and then gradually climb Gurung settlement of Gurjung. We will reach Chhomrong for and take a rest for rest of the day. Chhomrong is a bigger settlement of the Gurung community. B/Fast, Lunch & Dinner Included

Observing a morning view from Chomrong, we continue our trekking to get to Himalaya via Bamboo and Dovan. Today's walking is completely different as we walk though a deep gorge and on the banks of the Modi river. Today, you will hear the noise of Modi river and the birds on the background while walking and that will concentrate your mind. You will have a chance to see some wildlife including monkeys and Himalayan goats.

Annapurna Base Camp Trek
Today, we trek towards our final destination Annapurna Base Camp( ABC). You will be overwhelmed by the scenic beauty being surrounded by the snow -capped mountains. In the afternoon, your guide will take you for a close view of the Annapurna I (8091m), where you will see Annapurna glacier. Annapurna South997200m), Hiun Chuli(6444m) and Fishtail (6793m) and Annapurna III will be standing on your back.

We will wake up early in the morning and see the magnificent sun rise view. You will have a chance to take photos while sun rays hitting the Himalayas. By the time, breakfast will be ready!! We will then return to Bamboo hiking all the way downhill. You will lose almost 2000 meters in 6-7 hours when you Bamboo.
BAMBOO TO JHINU HOT SPRING (1780M), 5 hours)

Leaving Bamboo behind, we climb for 30 minutes to reach Khuldighar where the experimental sheep farm is. From here, the trail is gradual up first then flat and downhill until we arrive Sinuwa. We trek downhill again and after crossing over the Chhomrong Khola uphill to up to Chhomrong village. From Chhomrong, the trail descends very steeply for 1 hour to the village of Jhinu. We drop our bags here to go for taking a bath on the hot springs descending to Modi Khola river.
JHINU TO NAYAPUL 6-7 hrs AND DRIVE TO POKHARA 1.5 hrs
Today is the last day of the ABC trek. Leaving Jhinu, we firstly descend, cross the river and follow the Flat all the way to Birethanti then returning to Nayapul. Here our vehicle will have been waiting to drive back to Pokhara. We check into our hotel and your Happy Hour starts thereafter. 6 hours and 1 - hour drive.

You can either drive back to Kathmandu or alternatively take a 30 min flight at an additional cost. On this successful journey to ABC, we will offer a farewell dinner.

5.00Everything from start to end was well planned by our guide Raj and the company. The trek was enjoyable with many laughters and fun along the way. Although due to bad weather we didn't make it to our intended destination (EBC) The company quickly changed our route to ABC which impressed me alot. They made all nessecary changes all within 1 hour which was great! It could have ended in a bad trip but due to their experience they turned it around and still gave us the adventure that we seek. 10/10 service and care. Great job thirdpole and Raj!

5.0023 March-7 April 4 of us were supposed to climb Everest base camp but due to the bad haze on the day we were supposed to fly to Lukla, our guide Raj told us to make an impromptu decision to climb ABC instead. Of course, we were slightly disappointed but we were prepared for such changes. And we’re thankful we did. We’ve heard so many bad stories of people who force their way there and get injured or have difficulties coming back out to Kathmandu after their hike due to the weather. During our hike, we were very well taken care of. Our porters and guide ensured all our meals were well, held our hands to make sure we got over safely especially on the snowy grounds. What I enjoyed most was that our guide allowed us to stay in their homes, and hosted us just like we were part of his family. He cooked for us fish curry, and his wife cooked mutton. It was a great experience and i’d definitely introduce my friends to this group in future! Make sure your guides are experienced. That’s most important. Safety is always first and I’m thankful Adventure Thirdpole did a wonderful job in that for us. We miss you papa Raj! - Hazel, Singapore

5.00I have been in a couple of places in the world but Nepal is no like others. It's a country where nature shows it greatest masterpiece: mountains. But not only mountains, during our trek, my girlfriend and I also learnt a lot about the culture and the people of Nepal. For me, it's a life-time experience. It couldn't happen without the accompany of Mr. Raj and Bimol from Adventure Thirdpole Treks. Those who have showed us the beauty of Nepal through their hospitality, warmth, and great stories. The service is just excellent. And what we brought back home was not just experience but also two new Nepalese friends. We're gonna come back in Nepal as soon as we can. Chung Mai from Vietnam.

5.00It was the best holiday in my life ! Everything was well organized ! Adventure Thirdpole Treks' guys were waiting for us in the airport and took care of us til the end of our trip. As someone who's a beginner in hiking I got a lot of inspiration and support from our guide Adarsha. I wanted to give up and go back on halfway to Annapurna basecamp but Adarsha told me not to give up and gave me hope and strength to get to ABC. I was so happy and full of emotions once we arrived at our destination and was thanking Adarsha for not losing hope in me and giving me strength to keep moving. The best views in my life ! FISHTALE Annapurna South and so on. I'm very thankful to our bags carrier Bharat Karki (Mailah). I also want to thank Deepak and his wife for their hospitality and kindness in Kathmandu. 5.00It was great to see Mr. Raj, Mr. Deepak, Mahila and the rest of the Adventure Thirdpole Treks team after 2 year hiatus. Great coordination prior to the trip. Mr. Raj was very prompt with his responses, Bookings were done quickly and they had catered to all of our needs. Everyone was hospitable upon our arrival in Kathmandu. Especially during our welcome dinner at Mr. Deepak’s house. The team of Mr. Raj, Mahila and Ram made our whole journey and trek a very enjoyable, stress free and knowledgable. Mr Raj made sure everything went smoothly, Ram made sure that we were comfortable and stress free during the trek and Mahila made us laugh with his jokes and entertaining ways. 5.00Raj, Mahila and Ram were amazing! There wasnt a single moment during the journey that was unpleasant. We had limited time in Nepal so Raj kindly altered our itinerary as to accommodate our time limit. We started from Australian Base Camp and worked our way up to ABC. The journey was nothing short of endless breathtaking picturesque views the whole way through. It was nothing like we’ve ever imagined. Raj is a kind, trustworthy and hardworking guide. From our 1st hand experience, Raj will do almost anything for his guests! His hospitality was top notch! His knowledge, guidance and support during the trek was just admirable. Mahila is our porter. Our Gleeful and jovial porter. Days spent with Mahila were filled with so much life in the mountains. Ram is our other porter. An introvert individual but oh so kind with his gestures and smiles. We couldn’t have wished for a better team! We highly recommend Thirdpole treks! They are the way to travel. We made memories during our trip but most importantly friendships were fostered. We wouldn’t have it any other way. Thank you RAJ AND TEAM!
