What To Expect
After meeting your guide at the Kiruna Guidetur office, you will collect warm clothes for the tour and be driven by minivan out to the forest start point (20mins). Here you will be briefed on how the snowmobiles work and important safety. Then it is time to head out into the forest for your afternoon snowmobile adventure. Your tour will take you through the beautiful area around the frozen Torne River, as well as across frozen lakes and through winding forest tracks. We use modern snowmobiles with four-stroke engines as we admire the striking arctic nature. After your tour, you will be driven back to the Kiruna Guidetur office start point.

5.00We really enjoyed the day with a snowmobile and visit at the Icehotel. Our guide was so friendly and open minded. He told us a lot about Kiruna. The ride on the snowmobile was really exciting and we 3 had a lot of fun. Thanks a lot for this perfect day.

5.00It was great fun and Richard kept a close eye on the 2 snowmobiles. He stopped occasionally so we could switch. Through the forests and over the tight snow plains (the rivers). We can therefore highly recommend this 3-hour tour.

5.00Fantastic and unique experience. I had as a guide Evelina is very nice, sociable and competent. We took a ride in the forest and then arrived on a frozen river on which you can pull the snowmobile to the maximum, really fun! Halfway through we stopped in a Sami tent. I absolutely recommend this experience Giorgio

5.00We had an incredible experience on a snowmobile tour in Kiruna with a highly professional team. The guides were fantastic—they provided clear and thorough instructions on how to drive the snowmobiles, making sure everyone felt confident before we set off. During the journey, the lead guide maintained a comfortable pace and frequently checked to ensure everyone was safe and enjoying themselves. It was reassuring to have a guide in the front and another at the back, which made the experience feel well-organized and secure. One of the highlights of the tour was seeing the aurora in the afternoon—it was absolutely magical! The team gave us plenty of time to pause, take in the breathtaking view, and truly savor the moment before heading back. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Kiruna. It’s a perfect mix of adventure, professionalism, and unforgettable natural beauty!

5.00My family, with 2 teenagers, booked 3 tours with Kiruna Guidetur and everything was perfect. Great organization and communication. The guides were amazingly professional and friendly. Everything went very smoothly. Each guide made sure we discovered the beautiful spots and view points. They adapted to our rhythm, went fast when we wanted to and stopped when we wanted a photo break. Special thanks to Matouš who chose the most interesting paths with our snowmobile, prepared the fishing rods and cook the lunch on a fire in the middle of the frozen lac. Last but not least, the lunch was excellent: cheese sandwich grilled on the fire and a very flavorful salmon soup with vegeatbles , I was not expecting such a sophisticated and tasty cuisine while were were on the go and the food was carried on the snowmobile by Mathieu. Congratulations, we had a great time and highly recommend Kiruna guidetur. Cheers, Edouard
