Lovely air conditioned boat. Great views and plenty of space around each table. The food was lovely and the waiting staff were a delight. Would highly recommend this experience.

What a fantastic experience - the river cruise and afternoon tea was a highlight of the whole trip! The staff were so friendly, assisting me by sorting out a last minute booking glitch that would have resulted in missing the experience altogether. I really appreciated their calm approach to sorting out my problem, while managing the crowds of guests ready to board. The cruise itself was a sight-seeing wonder as we cruised down the Thames past iconic buildings, under bridges and along the bustling shoreline. The Captain provided the talking points and shared interesting historical tidbits that amused and enlightened. The three tiered afternoon tea tray was a feast for the eyes as well as the tummy.. The serving staff were attentive to every need, refilling drinks and teas, while chatting easily with us. I recommend this London experience by City Cruises to everyone. It was more relaxing, fun and satisfying than any other booked event while in London: limited, well managed lineups; experienced, friendly staff; fantastic photo ops; and afternoon tea with all the trimmings.

This was a very enjoyable river cruise. Unfortunately, it was a very hot day and so the dining room was very warm.

The river cruise itself was great, the cruise narrator was funny and informative. Seeing the city from the river was great and the food/tea was ok. The music played in between the stories didn’t match the atmosphere, felt like we were in a hip hop club instead of a tearoom.

The tea items were very tasty and the boat ride was fun. It was a bit difficult to hear the announcements about the various sites along the route. The worst part was the unbearable heat while we were there. Although it was air conditioned, it was not able to keep up with the heatwave. By the end of the experience I was very hot and ready to get off the boat. If it wasn’t for the heat, it would have been fabulous!

Very disappointed in this company. We were delayed in arriving to the boat because the Tube was delayed. We arrived 4 minutes late and were told we had missed our tour boat. The company then refused to allow us to rebook for the following day without a 50% rebooking fee. We were also told the wrong arrival time on Viator app. We were out the entire cost. I would steer clear of booking with this company. They are bad news.

The tour is very beautiful, the tea and sandwiches are very tasty, and the staff is very friendly. A very good activity if it is your first visit to London! The people in charge of accommodating us on the ship were also very kind.

The boat was lovely and comfortable however the sandwiches were disappointingly stale. Apparently the voice over guide was ‘not official’ - why wouldn’t there be a commentary on what we are seeing along the river?
