This was a great tour. Really interesting. The schedule seemed to be reversed from some previous reviews, starting with a food stop, then the temples, then the Roman Villa. This worked well. Lorenzo, the tour leader, was very clear and did a wonderful job of keeping track of everyone, which wasn't easy. Giovana, the guide at the temples, was excellent and very knowledgeable. The tour is not for the faint of heart, though, long bus rides and lots of walking. But we found it totally worth it.

Lorenzo make sure every group is in good hands. Explain to us with different language one by one. Try to answer all of our questions (with help of the kind driver James as well)! Learned a lot. Highly recommended!

The Valley of the Temples was extraordinary! If you love history and marvel at how The Greeks constructed these temples and lived back in 480 BC - certainly go see this site. The guide at the Valley of The Temples, Victor, was passionate and so informative. Lorenzo was our guide on the transport to & from the site. He was a very nice person. Though it would have been nice to have some history of Sicily to & from the site. The Sicilian countryside is beautiful!

  • The tour guide provided...

The tour guide provided no narration at all, which I expected, but he and the driver talked non stop for the five hours of driving, with the driver clearly distracted and not paying full attention to his driving, and often driving quite slowly.. Guide brought us to a good stand for lunch, few food choices, not much seating, and have just 10 minutes to eat. There was another lunch spot at our stop that was nearby which would have been more relaxed, more food choices, food looked better. On a 10 hour tour guests should have more than 10 minutes to eat, and st least get to sit like human beings. No reason for it

Driver was good but they split us into two buses and the lead was not in our bus. I feel we missed some information. It was a long day. The guide at the Valley of the Temples was exceptional. Both sites are worth seeing.
