Experience a stargazing tour in the Atacama Desert, away from the magical town of San Pedro de Atacama.
Be picked up from your hotel and travel to the astronomical observation site. Arrive at a nicely arranged outdoor area under the stars, inspired by the Andean Cosmovision, in the shape of a Chakana (Andean Cross) and with a water mirror in its center where you can observe the reflection of the stars.
Listen as your certified and well-experienced stargazing guide explains both the Andean and the classic (Greek/Roman) interpretation of stars and constellations. See the most interesting celestial objects through high-end professional telescopes.
Finally, the special light-sensitive camera/lens takes beautiful pictures of you and the stars. Meanwhile, contemplate the night-sky and enjoy a hot tea or chocolate or a glass of wine.
After about 2 hours of stargazing be dropped off at your hotel.

What can I say when you have the opportunity to be in the Atacama Desert...do this tour. Check out the starry sky with the accompanying comments. It's just indescribably beautiful!

We were really looking forward to the tour in the late evening and our expectations were exceeded. At the beginning we looked at the starry sky with the naked eye. It was very informative and everything was explained very clearly and easily understandable. Later, the telescope was able to take a closer look at certain stars/planets. Seeing Jupiter like this was our highlight. All the questions you had were answered confidently. Overall, the tour takes about 2h and the small break for snacks and drinks was used to take great pictures with the starry sky in the background. We were so excited that we booked a private tour again a few days later.

This was our second astronomic tour in just over a year. The first one being in Western Australia. This experience was several levels above our earlier one. Lesse is a very knowledgeable presenter with his explanation of classical and Andean interpretation of the southern skies. Observations of planet Jupiter, distant stars and our closest neighbouring galaxy (Large Magellanic Cloud) through two telescopes was an unforgettable experience.

Our guide Lasse introduced us to the world of astronomy under an enchanting starry sky. This was very exciting and interesting. You had a great view of the night sky that you probably don't see anywhere else in this way.

My partner and I had a good time on this stargazing tour, the location is far enough outside of San Pedro to see the sky and the Milky Way well. The guide is knowledgeable about the sky and shared both the European and Andean interpretation of the sky and constellations. You also get to look at sky objects through two telescopes, and the guide always checks in with everyone to make sure you can see what you are supposed to see through the telescope. He can speak English, German, and French. The pictures he takes at the end of the tour in front of the night sky turned out beautiful! Snacks and drinks are also provided. Overall a good experience!! I recommend it.

Very nicely organized and executed tour, punctual pickup and beautiful facility for the Great starry sky! The views through the telescopes, the references to the Andean view of the constellations and the many explanations in general made the late evening very interesting. The beautiful photos and the small snacks were a nice round off ... Thanks for the nice tour!

We spent 3 wonderful, unforgettable days in Atacama. One highlight followed the next: The full moon rose as the sun set in the lunar valley, steel-blue skies and sunshine at the lagoons, endless expanse with wonderful colors, steaming geyser field at sunrise, rain showers in the desert....and all accompanied by interesting information about the land and people. Thanks to Lasse for the great tours!

We booked a private tour with Lasse. We were taken to a plot of land (undisturbed by other light or sound effects) specially designed for this purpose, where we could admire the wonderfully clear Milky Way and star formations. Lasse explained to us very competently and entertainingly the complex background and the complex history. In addition to perceiving it with the naked eye, he has brought us closer to certain stars with the telescope. There was a snack and plenty of drinks. A highlight were photos he took for us, which will make this experience unforgettable.

This tour was one of the absolute highlights of my trip to Chile. Our guide picked us up from the hotel and drove us to a beautiful, quiet location where we spent the evening stargazing. The whole experience was incredibly well organised and relaxed. We had wine, warm drinks and snacks while enjoying the night sky. Our guide, Lasse, explained the stars in such an engaging and passionate way. The tour was conducted in German as well, which made everything much easier for me to follow. Looking through the telescope and seeing the full moon so clearly was absolutely magical. If you’re visiting Chile and have the chance to do the tour, don’t miss it! It’s a magical experience I will remember for a lifetime. Thank you, Lasse, for such a beautiful night under the Atacama Sky.

We had a fantastic experience with Lasse. He is very knowledgeable and knows a lot about our beautiful universe by heart. The location where the viewing takes place is very well thought out and suites the viewing wonderfully. We found the telescopes to be really great to view with your own eyes some of the parts that were casually explained just an hour ago.
