The helicopter tour with glacier landing was awe striking at every level - perhaps the most beautiful, emotion filled, uplifting, spiritually touching experience of my life! The beauty of the glacier is beyond description. The quiet journey by helicopter guides one through years past, providing a deeper understanding of landscapes often unseen that link our earth’s past and present. I am still left speechless when explaining the impact from this experience to others. It is a once in a lifetime exploration. The staff within the Alaska Helicopter Tours are exceptional. Dylan Skaggs, the pilot, was perceptive of our particular bucket list items to stand on a glacier, see wildlife running, take photos, and fly through a quiet history. His skills are excellent when flying up and down, twisting and turning through the many mountain-like glacier passage ways as we explored the ice together. Dylan was kind and helpful to me as a senior traveler. Rendon Corbin is obviously a thoughtful and wise member of the team as he greeted us as we returned from our flight full of stories and experiences to tell others. Krystal Crowley expertly kept the day flowing with various teams arriving and leaving, wanting to fulfill a lifetime dream of seeing glaciers up close. Krystal played the instructional video for safety before flight, grouped passengers for each ride, ran the little store, radioed pilots, and more throughout the day. Transportation from Anchorage was arranged with Trudy picking us and others up from local hotels. Trudy was a delightful narrator of stories from the region as she drove the hour or so trip to the helicopters. We actually saw eagles flying and in the trees as Trudy pointed out local interests along the way. What a memorable day we had. We even witnessed a wedding party, bride and groom, family, friends, videographer and others leaving for their wedding day in several helicopters as we waited our special turn. I cannot Bragg enough about the Alaska Helicopter tour organization. I would offer my highest recommendation for this team. They communicate immediately and directly by text and phone. They are prompt and helpful to potential customers. Most importantly they care about providing a special memory for each person. My deepest and sincere thanks for giving me the flight of my lifetime!

Our family chose Alaska for our Thanksgiving getaway, packing the trip with all kinds of adventures. But out of everything we experienced, the flight and glacier landing were by far the highlight. It was absolutely unforgettable — an experience I’d recommend to anyone. We had to take two helicopter and had the best pilots we could ask for Matthias and Issac. Thank you so much again for an unforgettable experience.

I’m in a solo trip celebrating my birthday and it was a good surprise find this tour available one day before. Initially I booked the 2 hours tour that wasn’t possible to make de to weight balance in an existent group! The company was very transparente informing I couldn’t make it! I will give 5 stars because everything was perfect but as improvement you can create a better dynamic for solo travelers with payment in advance to have more inclusive entertainment! Not everyone travel with someone else but many solos travelers can make their own group. Another tip is you can start offering photos services at this place it would be amazing! The helicopter pilot was so kind and supportive!

Absolutely breath taking experience! Complete 10/10 ! Our pilot was so fun & knowledgeable. He was very informative while telling us some of the history of the glaciers & mountains. He incorporated a lot of thrill into the flight while also maintaining a 100% safe environment! He was so willing to help take really good photos of my girlfriend & I. This was truly the best activity you can experience while visiting Alaska!

Our pilot (I believe his name was Charlie) was absolutely fantastic — very considerate, professional, and knowledgeable. He explained everything clearly, answered all of our questions, and showed great skill both as a pilot and as a guide. The tour itself was an unforgettable experience that I would highly recommend. Landing on the glacier and walking near the stunning blue meltwater pools was truly magical — the scenery was breathtaking. We even had the chance to drink fresh glacier water, which made the experience even more special. This was a once-in-a-lifetime adventure, and I would gladly do it again.

This was an amazing experience. I had never seen a glacier and never dreamed I could explore one on foot. They took the stress out of the whole day by picking us up at our hotel and returning us safely.
