Main species to be observed Terns (Common tern, Little tern, Caspian tern, Sandwich tern etc), Wagtails (yellow, grey, white), colonies of cormorants, herons, glossy ibis, and the famous colony of Dalmatian Pelicans.

Highlights include flocks of Greater Flamingos (at least 3000 individuals daily), elegant Dalmatian Pelicans, herons, terns, and waders feeding in the shallows.
