Choose between a day tour or a special night tour of Alcatraz. The night tour includes a narrated cruise at sunset, cell door demonstrations, and talks from expert historians. Both tours include an audio guide available in multiple languages to delve into the prison's history and infamous escape attempts.
Additionally, enjoy a narrated 1-hour cruise with views of landmarks such as the Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman's Wharf, the Bay Bridge, and Pier 39 sea lions, all from the comfort of a boat with indoor and outdoor seating.
The time you select will be your Alcatraz ferry departure. The Alcatraz ferry departs from Pier 33.
You may take the Bay cruise on any day at any available departure time. These are 2 separate tours. Children 4 years and younger are free and do not need tickets.
For the Alcatraz Night tour, If you plan to take both tours on the same day, you must take the Bay Cruise before your Alcatraz tour.
The night tour is not available on Sundays and Mondays.

What To Expect
Alcatraz Island
Choose between a daytime tour or a special nighttime tour of Alcatraz. The nighttime tour includes a narrated cruise at sunset, cell door demonstrations, and talks from expert historians. For the Alcatraz Night tour ONLY: If you plan to take both tours on the same day, you must take the Bay Cruise before your Alcatraz tour. Otherwise, the Bay Cruise may be taken any other time or day according to the schedule. You will take a short ride on a ferry (15min) to Alcatraz Island from Pier 33. Enjoy a 45-minute immersive audio tour to listen to the incredible history of the infamous prison. After that, you have all the time you want to explore the rest of the island. Then you can take any ferry back to Pier 33. The ferry usually runs every 30 minutes. A multi-language audio tour included is now available in nine languages: English, Spanish, Mandarin, Italian, French, Japanese, Korean, German, Portuguese, and Dutch. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time.
San Francisco Bay
Take advantage of prime photo opportunities with unobstructed views in every direction aboard Blue & Gold Fleet’s 60-minute Bay Cruise Adventure. Sail past the famous PIER 39 sea lions and along San Francisco’s historic waterfront, revealing the city’s fascinating skyline. Cruise under the Golden Gate Bridge for a fantastic photo opportunity. This comfortable San Francisco Bay Cruise tour has both indoor and outdoor seating with full narration describing major landmarks as you sail by them. You haven’t experienced San Francisco until you’ve taken a Bay Cruise. The Bay Cruise departs from Pier 39. You may take the San Francisco Bay cruise anytime you choose. A schedule of departure times will be sent to you after booking.

5.00The Alcatraz Night Tour is an unforgettable experience. Arriving after dark adds an eerie, powerful atmosphere that completely changes how you experience the island. The audio tour is incredibly well done, with former inmates and guards bringing the history to life. Exploring the cellhouse at night, hearing the stories, and taking in the city lights from the island made this one of the most memorable experiences in San Francisco. Absolutely worth it—highly recommend doing it at night.

1.00You do not get an hour tour of the bay, we were shuffled to and from the island. There is no one speaking on the boat, thought they would have facts about the city, etc. The tour of Alcatraz is fine, it’s pre-recorded and interesting to see the island and you can explore all the areas. Not worth $149/per ticket. Would not spend the money again.

5.00Great package tour that has great flexibility on visiting Alcatraz and taking a cruise on the bay! It was a bit cold on the bay cruise so definitely be sure to bundle up. The Alcatraz tour was also great and I liked how you could spend as much / as little time as you wanted on the island!
