The 8:30am and 9:45am times departs from 488 Post Street. Look for a black Mercedes sprinter van parked across the street. It will start with Muir Woods and Sausalito then go to Alcatraz.
The 9:10am and 10:35am times departs from Pier 33. It will start with Alcatraz then go to Muir Woods and Sausalito.
The 12:50pm and 2pm times departs from Pier 33. It will start with Muir Woods and Sausalito then to Alcatraz at night.

4.00The road to Muir Woods is very twisty so car sickness could be an issue. Van was comfortable and the driver was great. Only an hour in Sausilito which I would have preferred longer.

3.00This is not the fault of the tour, but the San Francisco port authorities would not let us off the ship at the normal time. This meant we were late to the pick up point by 6 minutes. The tour left without us, even though we tried every way to get hold of them. When we asked if we could join them at the next point on the trip, we were advised that it would not be possible, and we would have to go to the third point. This cost us $90 extra in cab fares. We did eventually join the tour, and was told they had to go because it was such a tight schedule. Funnily enough, at this stop some German people were 3 minutes late, and the German tour guide waited for them! Also the minibus was cramped and uncomfortable, and the guides microphone was useless (unless you was in the first row of seating). The rest of the tour was OK, but in hindsight, you'd be better off just ubering everywhere. Would probably be cheaper too.
