I had a very bad experience with a tour on September 14, 2025. I wasn’t at the starting point, then they told me to go to another place to meet them. I had to pay 60 dollars for an Uber to get there, but they weren’t there either. I had to ask the security guards for help so they could find me some transportation back to the hostel where I started. They didn’t give me any solution. Terrible experience

Muir Woods was fantastic! Be careful on the boardwalk, they were extremely slippery. Chapel Grove was inspiring.

Lots of walking but spread out over the day. Alcatraz is doable if walking is difficult as there is a tram up to tge cellblock tour. Muir Woods is a nice stroll at your own pace and you can go as far or near as you are comfortable with doing. Sausalito has plenty of nice pubs and restaurants. Good day all around. The only drawback were the hords of flies for the Alcatraz tour even starting at Pier 33. They should mostly be gone by next month (October) once the Cormorants move off the island and migrate south.

This trip /tour is absolutely fabulous and we thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it! Our guide Anja was perfect... Not only is she a safe driver who negotiated the busy city roads and winding coastal roads with ease, she also provided great historical facts regarding San Francisco and the surrounding bay area making the tour so enjoyable, fun and interesting .. The drive to Muir Woods is truly spectacular with stunning inland and coastal views.. Muir Woods is a self guided walk along man-made paths.. The trail is as easy or difficult as you choose.. The majestic giant Redwoods are truly something to behold, a spiritual experience! There's also a fab gift shop and café here.. Then off to the lovely Sausalito which has old town charm.. Plenty cafes and ice cream parlors to have a tasty treat! Enough free time here to take in the smashing views across the bay from the pier.. On our return journey Anja found a great spot to capture fabulous photos of the iconic Golden Gate Bridge (Karl had been out in full bloom on our outward journey so the bridge was hidden by the eerie mist.. Tho I also love these photos 🤷🏻♀️)... Anja took some terrific photos of my husband Gordon & I... Our kids were very impressed!!! Thanks so much Anja, you really are such a lovely lady and a credit to the tour company!!... from Gordon & Jennifer (Scotland)
