Due to new regulations from the city for Mount Aksla, there is an influx of new visitors to Alnes lighthouse. On some occasions our visit to Alnes may change from an inside visit to an outside or panorama visit.
Tours conducted in April or October may be guided in English only, due to limited guide availability during the shoulder season.
At time of booking, Cruise ship passengers must provide the following information at time of booking "ship name"
Service animals are not allowed by default as other customers may have allergies, in case a service animal is needed please contact us
May be operated by a multi-lingual guide in English due to mixed groups
Some terrain may include uneven surface for wheelchair access

Ultimate Sightseeing tour
Duration: 4 hours 30 minutes: Be at the meeting point 15 minutes before departure. These departure times are based on the schedule of the cruise ships. Coach or Mini bus: Excursion by coach/mini bus. Size of the vehicle depends on the final numbers of participants. Venues: Storhaugen view, Sunnmøre Museum, Alnes Lighthouse & Giske church (outside photostop). High quality guided sightseeing tour.

5.00We made a wonderful tour with the Norway Excursions. It was well arranged. We were met at the ship and directed to the right bus. The stop in Bud was very nice. What a great view from there. The Atlantic route is probably more spectacular if you drive yourself, but from the bus the road and the view was beautiful. Not unimportant: the sun was shining all day and that gave this tour that little bit extra of course. Moreover, we found the price / quality in accordance with each other.

4.00We are so happy we visited the lighthouse and loved the open air museum. We didn't see much of the city of Alesund on the tour and were kind of dropped off with the option to get back on the bus to head to the cruise port. We were a bit disappointed in the tour. The guide was very knowledgeable but clear she was somewhat overwhelmed speaking in three languages and keeping the group together. For example, she ran out of time when providing the history of the area and had to skip over that portion in English.

5.00This tour provided a good overview of Alesund. The bus driver and tour guide were very professional and the guide was very knowledgeable about Alesund. The only complaint I had was that her talk was in 3 languages. That took up a lot of time and I felt that we missed out on some information.
