We were met at our hotel in Cairo by a very friendly man named Ashraf, who introduced us to our driver and sent us on our way to Alexandria. This was a very comprehensive tour and Walid, our guide in Alexandria, was friendly, knowledgeable, and had a good sense of humour. The tour included a visit into the library which is not included in some other tours we looked at. The highlight for us was the catacombs which we visited at the end of the day when the site is more quiet than in the morning. This tour was very good value for money as it included lunch and all entrance fees. There were three other people on the tour so it was a good size group. Our driver was very good, and who must have been exhausted after a long day driving from Cairo to Alexandria and back.

We had an absolutely amazing time on our excursion! The highlight was definitely Kareem. He was not just knowledgeable, but warm, enthusiastic, and genuinely cared about making sure everyone had a fantastic experience. Everything was smooth, well organized, and engaging from start to finish. I would highly recommend this trip, especially if you get Kareem as your tour guide. You will not be disappointed!

Alexandria City tour was hosted a local guide, Mohammed. He had a lot of knowledge and insight of his home city and provided information that only a local resident would know. We toured the King and Queen castles, the first Church in Egypt for Christian religion, the Catacombs and burial grounds of the Royal, an amazing Muslim Temple. As our day progressed we shopped for gifts and souvenirs. Then we had a wonderful lunch at Barzino’s Restaurant with a surprise birthday cake for me. If you’re EVER in the city of Alex make sure to book your tour with Mohammed.

I just want to say that Alexandra was amazing and the seafood was excellent. The tour guy was very friendly. I’m full of knowledge and very friendly if I come back to Egypt, I would love to go back to Alexandria.
