What To Expect
Catacombs Of Kom El Shoqafa
Your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel In Alexandria to start your tour. First visit the insides of the Catacombs of Kom El Shokafa which are the largest Roman Cemetery consisting of three levels cut in the rock.
You will also drive by Pompay’s Pillar and stop for a photo stop, (it was constructed in honor of the Emperor Diocletian at the end of the 4th century)

4.00A good tour to see the highlights of Alexandria with a local guide to explain the history and significance of each site. We started at 9:30 am and finished at 5:30 pm. Our only complaint is that the vehicle provided was to small for 6 people (4 tourists, driver& guide) and we were cramped into the back 3rd row seats. There was quite a lot of time spent in the vehicle due to the roads jammed with crazy traffic and the distance between sites.

5.00Long drive from Cairo to Alexandria but break it up halfway with a coffee or juice - very fast drive on very good roads. Alexandria is beautiful and part of the greco Roman history of Egypt, and as relics ar ebrought up rom the sea will become an increasingly interesting place to visit

5.00Our full-day tour with Waleed was exceptional! We saw all of the sites and he provided incredible expertise and knowledge throughout the day! Welcoming and humorous, Waleed is an incredible guide! He introduced us to amazing local food and even Turkish coffee. Overall incredible experience!

5.00Waleed was an exceptional guide. Helped bring the history to life with humor and expertise. He definitely kept us on our toes with humorous anecdotes about donkeys, big feet, and chickens! Absolutely incredible experience! He even introduced us to some local foods and made a special stop for us to try Turkish coffee. Our tour with him is definitely one of the high points of our trip! Phenomenal experience overall!

5.00Had a great time! Waleed was awesome and extremely knowledgeable! We made it to all the sites and learned a bunch about each! Has the best Koshary in all of Alexandria too! Highly recommend this as it’s a great way to see Alexandria and its history!

4.00Our guide Karim arrived on time. Disappointing, although the booking was for 4 people and the VIP your, the vehicle was only a medium sized SUV so with 6 people including the driver, 3 people had to sot on the back seat and 1 person jad yo crawl into the space behind the seats- not very comfortable gor all and certainly not suitable. In terms of needing to aee as many of the sights of Alexandria in one day, this tour hits most of the high points in quite a well organised way that we arrived at before most of the crowds. Karim was quite knowledgeable although tended to speak very fast with a well rehearsed spiel .
