This was our second tour with Andre, which like the first, exceeded our expectations! From his meticulous planning and keen attention to detail to his generosity, kindness, and friendship, we could not have had a better and more knowledgeable guide. He’s prepared for everything with multiple “plan Bs” and nothing from him is canned. It’s all organic knowledge and storytelling from someone passionate about what they do. For us it’s not just about seeing the sights and being told the history. It’s about an exchange of dialogue and experiencing the culture through a variety of means. Andre really excels at this type of experience and after a couple of outings with him, we’re proud to call him a friend. If you want to immerse yourself in a single or multi day adventure that encapsulates history, food, and experience with great hospitality, you will do no better than this.

Andre was a wonderful guide on our tour from Lisbon to Madrid. Our son and daughter-in-law had toured with Andre last year, so they contacted him for this January. Andre put together a tour based on our interests and priced it for us. We felt the price was fair and the service was just excellent. Everyday was a new adventure in this beautiful part of Europe, and we were spoiled by Andre with his special touches. My husband has some medical issues that make long distances on foot difficult. Andre always kept this in mind and adapted for my husband’s needs. He considered hills and distances and changed plans as needed. We’ve signed up twice for a river cruise on the Douro River which was more expensive than other river cruises we’ve done. We cancelled those because the price per day was ridiculous in our opinion. We needed a way to see Portugal, so this was just perfect. I suggest this tour would fit many older traveler’s needs. Portugal has lots of hilly countryside and having a private tour , might be a perfect fit. That being said it was perfect for our younger ( and fitter) children. Andre separated us at times to meet their needs too. Contact Andre and see Portugal. Make a special friend and see a beautiful country.

We spent 10 days in Portugal with Andre-8 days fully guided-exploring Porto, Lisbon & Algarve. Hr came highly recommended and live up to it. Always punctual, cheerful and knowledgeable, he planned our route & recommended excellent, local restaurants too. His car is new, spacious and comfortable, making long drives pleasant. If you are looking for a hassle free holiday where you do not have to worry about planning or driving , he’s the perfect guide.

We had the pleasure of touring Portugal with Andre as our guide, and he truly went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. From the start, he impressed us with his detailed and thoughtful program, which he shared well in advance so we knew exactly what to expect. He is deeply knowledgeable about Portugal’s history and culture, and he shares that knowledge with genuine enthusiasm and care. His English is impeccable, which made everything seamless and easy to follow. What stood out most was how attentive Andre was to everyone’s needs—he was flexible, accommodating with changes, and always communicative, making sure every detail ran smoothly. It was clear he truly cares about his guests and takes pride in delivering an exceptional experience. If you’re looking for a guide who combines expertise, warmth, and professionalism, Andre is your guy!

A great holiday experience flying into Porto via Madrid and on to Lisbon by train. We then hired a car and drove to The Algarve in the south before returning to Lisbon via Evora. Many thanks to Flight Centre Berwick Vic and our Consultant Nal Smith for organising yet, another fantastic adventure for us.

Where to begin. Andre was an absolute gem. The whole experience felt like we were VIP guests touring this beautiful country with a friend. Andre is so charismatic and remained hospitable throughout the entire day. It is obvious he loves what he does and booking him is what anyone who wants to travel and learn about this beautiful country should do. From pick up to drop off Andre was so involved in making sure we felt comfortable. I felt we saw the hidden gems to see on our trip from Lisbon to Porto. Wish our trip would’ve been longer!. If you want a truly memorable experience, highly recommend. I can’t stress enough how much you will enjoy this experience and his warmth. If I haven’t made it clear…. Book with Andre and his team!! You will not be disappointed!

If you’re reading this, stop your search now and book a tour with Andre — you will not regret it! Andre is an absolute gem of a human being. He’s a beautiful soul — charismatic, kind, incredibly knowledgeable, and full of passion for what he does. From the very first moment we hopped into his van, it felt less like a formal tour and more like exploring with a friend who just so happens to know EVERYTHING about the places you’re visiting. Andre took us on a private port wine tour at Eufemia Winery, which was by far, my favorite part of our trip to Portugal. He also guided us through Fatima, Sintra, and Lisbon, each time bringing history and culture to life in the most engaging way. He’s so captivating that other tour groups literally started following us around, just to hear him speak! That’s the kind of magnetic energy and knowledge he brings. On the way to our main destinations, he took us to places we never would’ve found on our own — local hidden gems that made us feel like insiders. Somehow, at every stop, he managed to find the best food in town (complete with his spot-on recommended dishes to order), whether it was a cozy hole-in-the-wall or an elegant local restaurant. We traveled in total comfort and style in his beautiful, spacious, air-conditioned Mercedes van — every drive felt luxurious. He was super in-tune with our travel needs, at one point, he stopped at a local shopping center to help us find a Nintendo DSi charger (the only one we brought broke on the plane). This enabled nightly Mario Parties for the remainder of our trip! Andre wasn’t just a tour guide for us — he became a friend (and an Instagram-worthy photographer). We could have talked to him for hours (and honestly, we did!). He made this trip unforgettable and we are so grateful we had him as our guide. If you’re considering a tour, do yourself a favor: ask for Andre. He deserves all the bookings in the world. Truly one of a kind.

Andre was fabulous! We toured with him for 3 days. In Porto we toured Duoro Valley and a small family run Winery, where we received undivided attention and the wine was delectable! André arranged a tapas lunch that day, which we really loved. Our second tour with Andre was from Porto to Lisbon, with stops at Fatima and Nazaré. Andre arranged a wonderful restaurant overlooking the sea for our lunch. Throughout the tour, he was very informative, but also allowed our family space to explore on our own. Lastly, from Lisbon, we toured Lisbon Alfama district annd Belém Tower and Sintra Palace. Andre introduced us to Pastel de Nata at Belém, and those were the best by far! Andre anrranged lunch for us at an excellent restaurant perched on a bluff overlooking the sea. We ordered grilled Sea Bass, served whole, which our waiter filleted for us at our table while we watched. Next, our tour of Sintra was iamazing, other tourists seemed interested in what André was explaining, since their tour guides were not as informative. Andre was always happy to take pictures of us whenever we needed. He was able to read our cues and customize our trips for our utmost enjoyment! I recommend André without hesitation. He is excellent, you will not find a better guide than Andre, he is the BEST!

We had a fantastic stay in Portugal with excellent service from Nomad Inspiration. I contacted Nomad Inspiration directly for a custom private trip. André the owner replied promptly with a Google forms questionnaire that he used to custom plan the trip. It was excellent from the beginning but we had a few minor modifications that André worked out easily. The price was fair from shopping around given the private nature and customized trip. A down payment was done by a credit card to confirm our commitment and there was no pressure throughout. He picked us up from the Airport and was there before us with a clear instructions on how and where to meet by WhatsApp. He drove use to the airport and provided excellent pointers about the city. He was kind, polite and helpful. I completed the payment with a credit card the day of arrival. On the second day was our first meeting with Carlos our main guide for the rest of the trip. Carlos is charming, kind, helpful and funny. The kids really liked him. Carlos was our guide and driver in an excellent, spacious, quiet and comfortable Mercedes Benz van for the rest of the trip. Our wake tour in Lisbon was during a record heat wave, an adjustment was made for the walking tour by minimizing the walking and taking frequent rests in the cooled van between points of interest which we appreciated. In the evening we did the private river boat tour which while hot was nice and we enjoyed it. We spent 3 nights in Lisbon. From Lisbon we went to Obidos, Sintra and Then Porto where we stayed for a cupola of nights. Then to Évora for one night, Algarve for 2 nights and back to Lisbon for another night. We visited several small towns and sampled the famous Pastel De Nata. André and Carlos even booked a couple of restaurants with amazing views and excellent seafood to eat, for those we paid at the restaurant as they were not part of the package, but planning the lunch stop was a nice touch. We arranged travel and hotels, and Nomad Inspiration took care of most of the rest. Overall we had a fantastic trip made possible by Nomad Inspiration, André and Carlos. Portugal is a fantastic place to visit and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Nomad Inspirations for family and friends.

We just returned from an incredible 8-day journey through Portugal—starting in Porto, then Lisbon, and ending in the Algarve—and André was the heart and soul of the experience. He went above and beyond in every possible way and truly restored my faith in humanity. It’s rare to meet someone so kind, honest, genuine, and hardworking. Traveling with three young kids (ages 6, 7, and 10) isn’t always easy, but André was absolutely amazing with them. As a father of a 10-year-old himself, he connected with our children so naturally—he was patient, thoughtful, and knew exactly how to keep them engaged and happy throughout the trip. It made a huge difference for us as parents to know they were in such good hands. From the moment we arrived, André made us feel welcome, cared for, and completely at ease. His knowledge, professionalism, and attention to detail were impeccable—but more than that, his warmth and sincerity made it feel like we were traveling with a dear friend. It was a privilege to get to know him. We will absolutely use André again for our next trip to Spain or Portugal. If you’re considering a private tour, look no further. Highly recommended — A+++++!
