The Alhambra
The Alhambra, located on the Sabica hill, is an Andalusian palatine city. Its name comes from the reddish colour of its walls, coming from the clay of the land itself (Al-Hamra in Arabic). It is formed by a group of palaces, gardens and fortress where there was a citadel within the city of Granada itself, its main function was to serve as accommodation for the monarch and the court of the Nasrid Kingdom of Granada. There are also Christian settlements, such as the palace of Charles V and the church of Santa Maria, built on top of the old mosque. It is one of the most visited monuments in Spain and was declared a World Heritage Site in 1984. Enjoy the visit with an official guide.

5.00Great tour provided by Natalia! It was just over 3-1/2 hours. We were fortunate to have a "small" group of 14 instead of up to 30. Natalia allowed us to ask questions during the tour; you also take a 15-minute break about halfway through to rest a bit and enjoy a snack (not included). We moved along at a good, relaxed pace. Please make sure you bring your passport, as there are a few checkpoints you must pass through. Overall, the tour check-in process was easy before the tour started. Kudos and thank you to Natalia for a wonderful tour!

5.00It's a long tour. Be prepared to walk a lot. But it's totally worth it. It's beautiful and the tour guide explained the history very well. Without the tour guide, it's hard to appreciate the details behind the beautiful monument.

5.00We visited the Alhambra with Jesus and the experience was very good. Explain clearly and enjoyably, with touches of humor that make the tour very entertaining. You can see that he knows well the history of the Alhambra, the Nasrid Palaces and the Alcazaba, and knows how to transmit it. The treatment was excellent throughout and got the visit short.
