The Alhambra
The Alhambra, located on the Sabica hill, is an Andalusian palatine city. Its name comes from the reddish colour of its walls, coming from the clay of the land itself (Al-Hamra in Arabic). It is formed by a group of palaces, gardens and fortress where there was a citadel within the city of Granada itself, its main function was to serve as accommodation for the monarch and the court of the Nasrid Kingdom of Granada. There are also Christian settlements, such as the palace of Charles V and the church of Santa Maria, built on top of the old mosque. It is one of the most visited monuments in Spain and was declared a World Heritage Site in 1984. Enjoy the visit with an official guide.

Our guide was exceptional, kind, funny and knowledgeable. I was frustrated b/c tour I purchased day before did NOT include the palace. This title was clear and said "Complete" Alhambra, wish day before had clearly stated what it didn't inclde.

Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water. There are many stairs and hills. Beautiful scenery

My sister and I went and we had such a good time! The air plugs didn’t work super well but the hide was very informative and he spoke loud enough that it was fine without it. It was also paced really well, we saw everything without being rushed or wasting time. I would definitely recommend to friends/family

They are not kidding when they say wear good walking shoes. I wouldn’t plan too much else for the day because the tour is fabulous, but draining. The Alhambra is huge and it was worth going on this tour because I don’t think you would get a sense of the place through an audio guide. The only issue was the tour guides radio signal kept cutting out which was a shame but totally not Natalia’s fault. The company that run the tours were very disorganised signing everyone in and the tour began late - once again, not the tour guide’s fault. She was incredibly knowledgeable! (although there was another tourist on the tour who dominated with a lot of questions about Spanish history not always related to the Alhambra, leaving little time for the rest of us to ask questions as we travelled through the amazing Alhambra). This tour was worth the money and we would recommend it to other travellers.
