What To Expect
Generalife
First we Will visit The Generalife, we Will walk around the palace and gardens and We will know the gravity irrigation system of the Alhambra. Today, the irrigation system has been restored and is used to maintain the beauty and greenery of the Alhambra gardens.

After visiting the Generalife, we will arrive at the Medina.The Alhambra Medina is an ancient fortified city found within the walls of the Alhambra in Granada, Spain. It was built during the Nasrid era and was used as a residence for the inhabitants of the court and the nobility. By walking through the narrow streets of the Medina, visitors can experience a sense of what daily life was like in the Middle Ages. In this point we will visit as well the free admission sites : Parador, Charles the V Palace and Santa Maria de la Alhambra.

5.00Laura was so knowledgeable and engaging, even my teenage son was listening intently for the entire three hour tour. Not only is she an art historian by education, she shred she is from Granada, so she had great stories to share about what it is like to grow up in that community, part of the local culture, which gave great color to the tour. Five stars.

2.00Very inexperienced and unprofessional guide who hardly spoke Italian, but very friendly. Comparing our visit with those of other groups lacked quality. Too badly explained everything and with few details. The visit was not worth the almost €300 we paid but nowhere near. A real scam considering the ticket costs 21€

3.00The Alhambra, the Palace and the gardens are all gorgeous. As is the view of Granada and the surrounding mountains. However we booked a ‘Small Group’ tour for what, we felt, was a significant amount of money. Our group ended up being 27 people plus the tour-guide plus there were many other groups in the vicinity at all times. It did not seem like a small group experience. Whenever our group got stretched out because of the crowds the earpiece radios that the guide was speaking into to would cut in and out because of the distance. Not sure it ended up being good value for the money we paid. Could have just paid regular admission and followed along with the hordes of other groups.
