What To Expect
Generalife
First we Will visit The Generalife, we Will walk around the palace and gardens and We will know the gravity irrigation system of the Alhambra. Today, the irrigation system has been restored and is used to maintain the beauty and greenery of the Alhambra gardens.
Palace of Carlos V
After visiting the Generalife, we will arrive at the Medina.The Alhambra Medina is an ancient fortified city found within the walls of the Alhambra in Granada, Spain. It was built during the Nasrid era and was used as a residence for the inhabitants of the court and the nobility. By walking through the narrow streets of the Medina, visitors can experience a sense of what daily life was like in the Middle Ages. In this point we will visit as well the free admission sites : Parador, Charles the V Palace and Santa Maria de la Alhambra.

4.00The Alhambra is well worth visiting. The tour was informative. It was a bit fast moving for my taste. A bit rushed at times. A lot to cover in 3 hours, I suppose. But friendly guide who answered questions and the tour was lovely.

5.00This was a three hour tour of Alhambra and the Generalife (Gardens). Our tour guide was extraordinarily knowledgeable, and was a graduate archaeologist. Although the tour was expensive, we felt it was worth it. We got a lot more of the history and archeological details of how the various fortresses and palaces, as well as mosques/churches came to be than we would ever have gotten on our own.

1.00The booking says small group (10 people) but the company put 30 on the tour. The guide was great but she even admitted it was ridiculous and they do it all the time. But she said I can get refunded by reaching out. If that happens I will chnage this review.

5.00I rarely post reviews but this tour was amazing! Our guide Domenic/Dinko was so knowledgeable and gave so much historical context to every aspect of our 3 hour walking tour. He made the 3 hours fly with amusing chat and pertinent, dry observations as we passed through the sights. I learned so much about about the Alhambra and could imagine the lives of the people who inhabited thanks to our guide.

5.00This is the highlight of Granada. You haven’t seen much if not Alhambra. You can see the town surrounding it and the Flamenco show at Sacramento. Our guide Carlos was patient, knowledgable and thorough. A 5-star to him as well.

5.00This was a great afternoon tour. Our guide Georgia was fantastic. She was informative, thoughtful to both our tour group and others in the Alhambra which gave us the time to really enjoy every part of the experience. By far the best guide we have had in our 3 week trip in Spain. The Alhambra, palaces and grounds are just an amazing ‘must visit’ location.
