What To Expect
Generalife
First we Will visit The Generalife, we Will walk around the palace and gardens and We will know the gravity irrigation system of the Alhambra. Today, the irrigation system has been restored and is used to maintain the beauty and greenery of the Alhambra gardens.

After visiting the Generalife, we will arrive at the Medina.The Alhambra Medina is an ancient fortified city found within the walls of the Alhambra in Granada, Spain. It was built during the Nasrid era and was used as a residence for the inhabitants of the court and the nobility. By walking through the narrow streets of the Medina, visitors can experience a sense of what daily life was like in the Middle Ages. In this point we will visit as well the free admission sites : Parador, Charles the V Palace and Santa Maria de la Alhambra.

5.00I wish I remembered his name, but our guide was wonderful - he is from Italy originally and has been living in Spain for several years. Super knowledgeable, interesting, authentic and so kind. He is clearly interested in history and happy to share his immense knowledge. Our group ended up being only 6 people which was perfect to explore and learn about the Alhambra. Highly recommend this tour!

5.00Laura is a brilliant tour guide....she's outstanding!! She explained everything including the structure of Alhambra and how they could afford to build it, how they made it, the colour of the building, the water which is hidden underneath as very essential, the Arabic words, the colour of the interior of the Palace which had faded, the stained glass windows, the honeycomb effect ceilings, the geometry, the courtyards to let out the heat, the tiny houses outside the place full of 400 people, their dungeon, the people who lived and worked here. It really was UNBELIEVABLE how many things she told us in a very interesting way and she took her time to explain it all very carefully so that we understood so it took her an extra 30 mins after 3 hours to finish it as we went up to Generalife where all the GORGEOUS gardens are. We loved every minute of listening her explaining it! Thank you Laura... excellent! Excellent! Excellent!
