The skip the line tickets are great, especially in the 40 degree heat, however other than that not worth it. Our tour guide spent the whole time complaining about the heat and really didn't tell us anything and left me feeling completely clueless about it all. I could honestly say after leaving the tour I didn't learn a single thing about the Alhambra. I did a free Granada walking tour the following day and learnt soooo much about the Alhambra from that guide and in hind site I wish I just did the free walking tour and walked around the Alhambra on my own as the guide did not guide. Save yourself the money

Our tour guide, Angela, was the best and exceeded all expectations! She expertly described the history and architecture of the Alhambra that only a local could.

While on holiday in Spain every excursion agent told me it was impossible to go to the Alhambra. I then found the tickets with Viator and made my own travel arrangements. Absolutely fabulous experience and I can't wait to go back (probably in Winter though)

Paula was a fabulous tour guide describing and explaining each part of the Alhambra in an interesting, easy to understand and take in way. she was also happy to answer questions from people with a more thorough understanding of that time through history. Be careful on the steps on the way down from the water stairs, with the stones very slippery.

Honestly, this tour was terrible - a waste of time and money. There was a lot of standing and waiting around - one reason was that one family had a stroller. They would have to check the stroller at certain locations and then the group would have to wait 15 minutes for them to go retrieve the stroller. It should be clearly noted strollers are not allowed on this tour as it is not fair to make the entire group wait for the retrieval. There was no talking or explanation during this time… Just standing and waiting. Additionally, the group size was over 20 people and several of them tended to lag behind so we were constantly having to stop and wait for everyone to catch up. Unfortunately, I think we just did not get a strong tour guide – his English was not great and he was not a “storyteller”, which is what I hope to get when I do a tour like this. He would tell us basic facts about things we saw, but I honestly think we would have learned more from an audio guide. I have done many tours in many places and I have to say this is the worst one we have ever done. I was extremely disappointed as it was likely a once in a lifetime trip to the Alhambra for my family and I don’t feel like we really learned or captured the essence of the full story/background of its rich history.
