What To Expect
Generalife
First we Will visit The Generalife, we Will walk around the palace and gardens and We will know the gravity irrigation system of the Alhambra. Today, the irrigation system has been restored and is used to maintain the beauty and greenery of the Alhambra gardens.

After visiting the Generalife, we will arrive at the Medina.The Alhambra Medina is an ancient fortified city found within the walls of the Alhambra in Granada, Spain. It was built during the Nasrid era and was used as a residence for the inhabitants of the court and the nobility. By walking through the narrow streets of the Medina, visitors can experience a sense of what daily life was like in the Middle Ages. In this point we will visit as well the free admission sites : Parador, Charles the V Palace and Santa Maria de la Alhambra.

5.00Our guide, Maria, had a masters in Mediterranean History - it is wonderful to have a guide who loves the subject they are talking to you about! She had so many extra Pierce's of information to share...both legends and facts! We appreciated all she told us and she ran an efficient and organized tour as well! Tour was just the right amount of time but it was possible to go back to things on your own afterward if you wanted to stay longer. FYI Tour is fairly strenuous - 5 km of walking. Would recommend!

5.00The Alhambra, Nisrid Palaces and Generalife gardens is a large and impressive destination, overlooking Granada. Our tour was not too big, and our wonderful guide, Carmen, was approachable, conversational and had a wonderful wry sense of humor that had us giggling amidst the history lessons! We spent a good couple of hours together exploring this incredible place, filled with beauty and majesty, but it went by so quickly with all the interesting facts from our guide. Not even the rain could dampen our spirits! We highly recommend this option, thank you, Carmen, you are a gem! Love the mum and daughters from South Africa

4.00Be prepared to walk!! Hard walking that makes walking on cobblestones a piece of cake. That being said- it was so worth it! The gardens are exquisite. The details, tile work, and precision in architecture is amazing. Our guide was very knowledgeable

5.00Our guide was on time and ready to get us going. Very well organized and the knowledge of history she had was incredible. Make sure you bring your physical passport or have a picture of it as this is mandatory for entrance.
