What To Expect
Generalife
First we Will visit The Generalife, we Will walk around the palace and gardens and We will know the gravity irrigation system of the Alhambra. Today, the irrigation system has been restored and is used to maintain the beauty and greenery of the Alhambra gardens.

After visiting the Generalife, we will arrive at the Medina.The Alhambra Medina is an ancient fortified city found within the walls of the Alhambra in Granada, Spain. It was built during the Nasrid era and was used as a residence for the inhabitants of the court and the nobility. By walking through the narrow streets of the Medina, visitors can experience a sense of what daily life was like in the Middle Ages. In this point we will visit as well the free admission sites : Parador, Charles the V Palace and Santa Maria de la Alhambra.

5.00Very good guide, relaxed, friendly and knowledgeable for a 3hr+ tour of the Alhambra and Generalife. I don't normally enjoy being guided around locations, but this was the only way we could get into the Alhambra at short notice. It worked out really well and I learnt a lot more than I should have done if I'd gone around by myself. With 9 people in the group, I never felt rushed or pushed along. It was excellent.

1.00Do NOT book this tour through Viator. I had an issue where my tour was booked for the wrong date. I called Viator right after getting confirmation and was on hold with a representative for well over an hour. She assured me that the correct date and time was confirmed with the company providing the service, sent me an email with the confirmation, and new tickets with the correct date and time. My family and I traveled to Granada from Florida, USA to show up the day of our tour to be told that Viator had cancelled the original date but never rescheduled the tour for the correct date, although they charged me for four adults and provided me tickets that were useless. When I get in touch with them, they say they are researching it and will get back to me. This was over two weeks ago. They stole my money, and worst of all, they ruined the day for us as we traveled all the way to Granada from Florida to not be able to go on the booked tour. Awful company! The visitation director of Alhambra told me this happens often. Go to the Alhambra website and book directly through them. In fact, she suggested to book directly anytime you are able to do so. I will not book a tour through Viator again! I will go through Get Your Guide or another app which allows you to reserve without paying right away before booking with Viator. Cannot say enough how poor their customer service has been and how little they cared about ruining our visit to Alhambra where we spent thousands to get there to not be able to see it.
