Our guide Abubakr was excellent. Knowledgeable and passionate he made the experience unforgettable. Unfortunately we did not get tickets to Nasrid Palace as we were led to believe we would. We were issued a partial refund, but did not see what we came for.

Our Alhambra experience was nothing short of magical, and Abu Bakr deserves every bit of credit for that. The journey began even before the trip itself. We booked on March 31st for April 13th, well within the 2-month window where tickets aren't guaranteed. Abu Bakr was upfront about this from day one, but assured us he'd do everything possible to secure them. True to his word, he kept us updated every couple of days without us even having to ask. Our tickets were confirmed the day before the visit. What a relief! His preparation was meticulous. He sent us a detailed video explaining exactly where the taxi drops off, how long the walk to the ticket office was, and precisely what to say when collecting tickets for our two young children. With a 2-year-old and a 6-month-old in tow, this level of detail made all the difference. On the day itself, Abu Bakr's knowledge of the Alhambra was extraordinary. This was a private tour, which meant we could ask him as many questions as we wanted and we did. He walked us through the Nasrid Palaces with incredible depth, explaining how the Sultan lived, how subjects would approach him, the symbolism behind every archway and tile. He even pulled up YouTube videos showing the centuries-old artistic process behind the intricate tilework. History came alive in a way no guidebook ever could. What truly set him apart was his humanity. Strollers aren't permitted inside the Nasrid Palaces, which meant carrying both children throughout. Without being asked, Abu Bakr quietly took our bags so we could manage the kids comfortably. When our 6-month-old needed feeding mid-tour, he guided us to a peaceful bench in the gardens, sat with us patiently for 15 to 20 minutes, and never once made us feel rushed. Yes, the price seemed a little steep when we first booked. But after the tour, every penny felt completely justified. The combination of guaranteed tickets, exceptional knowledge, genuine care for our family and a seamlessly smooth experience from start to finish made it worth every cent. The Alhambra itself is an absolute must visit. We were choosing between Seville and Granada for our itinerary and the Alhambra was the decision maker and it lived up to every expectation. If you're in Granada, do not miss it. It is breathtaking. If you're visiting the Alhambra, especially with young children, book with Abu Bakr without hesitation. He doesn't just show you a monument, he makes you feel the soul of it. One of the highlights of our entire trip to Spain.

When looking at what to do in Granada, there is really one option you HAVE to do. Visit The Alhambra and the palaces within. Ahmed was our tour guide and gave a very interesting and educational tour! The ingenuity and architectural design was beyond amazing! You definitely need to see it with your own eyes! Washington Irving visited in the 1800s and it was because of his book about Alhambra that they started to restore it and the palaces. It became a UNESCO site in 1984 as well as the old town built outside the Alhambra walls but within the outerwalls. People still live in this area the houses from the 14th to 16th century! Also now a UNESCO site!

The provider saved us at the last second after the tour booked two months ago was cancelled by the organizer the day before and we were left without everything. Tickets and a guide for the following day were organized here in no time! Beautiful private guided tour of Isabel, in a quiet manner three hours relaxed by the Alhambra and everything explained and all questions answered. Thank you so much!

Our tour of the Alhambra, including the Nasrid Palaces and the Generalife, with our guide Abubakr was absolutely outstanding and the clear highlight of our visit to Granada. Abubakr is a true history expert with deep knowledge of Islamic culture and Arabic. He even read inscriptions directly from the palace walls in three different calligraphic styles, bringing the Alhambra vividly to life. His explanations beautifully connected architecture, gardens, water, and symbolism into a coherent whole, delivered with depth, clarity, and a sharp sense of humor. An unforgettable experience. If you want a guide who combines scholarship, passion, and engaging storytelling, Abubakr is exceptional. Highly recommended.

Our tour of the Alhambra with Abu Bakr was pure magic — a journey not only through history, but through time, faith, and beauty itself. In our small group of five, he guided us with the elegance of a poet and the insight of a scholar, weaving stories that gave voice to the stones, the gardens, and the silent arches that have witnessed centuries of devotion and artistry. Every word he shared carried purpose and reverence. Abu Bakr revealed the Alhambra’s hidden soul — details, symbols, and meanings that no book or plaque could ever express. His love for this sacred place and for the spirit of Islam was radiant, wrapping us in a sense of peace and connection that felt almost divine. By the end, we didn’t simply tour the Alhambra — we felt its heartbeat. Abu Bakr turned a visit into a memory, a lesson into an awakening, and a monument into a living masterpiece we’ll carry in our hearts forever.
