Great guided hike on the glacier. Guide was knowledgeable and provided a lot of interesting information about the glacier and ensured everyone's safety. Plenty of opportunities to take pictures. Don't have to be super fit, but there is elevation and hiking at a moderate pace vs a stroll. Although the driver didn't provide a guided narrative on the way, he was very knowledgeable of the area and the glacier and happily answered any questions.

Our guide Leona is experienced and friendly. Took lots of professional photos of us. We drove 2 hours and stopped by a Mcdonald to get lunch. The hiking part is one of the kind, once in a lifetime experience. My 5 year old girl was able to follow along, almost 2 hr hike. My 8 year old boy was following the guide all the time, asking all sorts of questions, and the guide was able to answer him and even let him tried the pickaxe on ice and rock. We were lucky the weather was nice. We wore layers of clothes and the kids wore ski pants which proved to be necessary. Wear utility boots or sneakers, something you won't mind to get dirty.

Kevin communicated very well in advance and kept us on track. He was always ahead of the curve and went above and beyond to help us and the other family with children to enjoy the experience safely. He was knowledgeable, helpful and kind, good with all of us from a 4-year old to retirees. 10 out of 10. Also, the on-site guides were well-trained, knew how to explain the glacier and navigate safely in the strange and constantly changing environment. Fun and very memorable.

Our family had an amazing glacier experience, and Kevin was the highlight of the day. He was knowledgeable, patient, and made sure everyone—from our youngest to the adults—felt comfortable and safe. Kevin explained the glacier’s history and features in a way that was engaging and easy to understand, and he went above and beyond to help us capture some incredible photos. His passion for the outdoors is contagious, and he made the whole trip both educational and fun. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Highly recommend Kevin for anyone looking for a memorable glacier adventure!

Hiking the glacier was breathtaking. I was a bit nervous because I have never done it before but my 16 year old son encouraged me and walla, I kept up just fine. Our guide was fun and knowledgeable.

The experience was great. The driver was a Chinese and very responsible. He took good care of my friend and me all the way. As we were J1 students, there were also other foreign couples in the car. He would often look at us through the rearview mirror to check on our condition and explain things in both Chinese and English. The guide sister was particularly responsible. During the glacier hike, she would hold your hand to walk and also take pictures for you. She was a very infectious person.

Great experience walking spot canyons on a glacier and learning about mulans, moraine, corridors, basal ice, and black ice.

This was a great experience. The entire trip took 8 hrs including 30 min break on our way to the glacier park. The total drive is around 2 hrs long from Anchorage. It’s a smooth ride except for the last stretch of about 2 miles which is unpaved leading to the glacier park. The hike was about 2 hrs 50 min inclusive of walking up to the glacier base and getting the spiked attachments on to the shows. The hike is relatively easy with some occasional steep ascents and descents. But the spikes make the walk super easy. We remained on the glacier for more than 2 hours, clicking pictures at various interesting places and stopping for a drink from the glacier melts. The guide was nice and helpful. And the day turned out exceptionally bright and sunny adding to the nice experience. We saw kids as young as 4 years old and older folks (one person in her 70s for sure) all enjoying the hike. But a bad knee may cause some issues climbing up and down the steep areas. It was our first glacier hike, could have not had started in any other place for such a perfect start. Hiking shoes and layered clothing along with woolen hat highly recommend.

We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel by Taylor! Our guide on the glacier was Bren and she was incredible and extremely knowledgeable! The glacier was the most challenging hike we’ve done but it was exhilarating! Always felt safe, thanks to the clampons! We lived every minute and saw a lot!
