Old boat needs renovation

The crew were great. The food was good. The boat was very old and needs significant renovations. Balcony door did not close, air conditioning did not work. Toilets got blocked and did not work.
Perfect two day trip. Highly recommended.

This boat was the most beautiful of all the ships in the bay (except the yachts). I highly recommend the 2 day trip. The second day included a very nice day boat where we went further into the bay with much less traffic. The staff went above and beyond to give us a good time. The room and bathroom were very nice and the balcony was perfect. The tour guides were excellent. Other reviews mention a lot of trash in the water but it was minimal. I almost had to look hard to see more than one piece. The food was also delicious. My only complaint was the charge for waters that weren’t in the room.

What a brilliant 3 days full of activities, food was gorgeous crew where so happy and friendly. Kenny the tour guide was outstanding, not forgetting the lovely ivy that helped with my booking and kept in touch with me about transport and timings absolutely fantastic.

HaLong Bay was on the top of our list to go to. We are glad we booked the 3 day 2 night because on day 2 you spend the whole day cruising around, kayaking and swimming in a spot that wasn’t swamped with tourists. The food was good and we enjoyed the scenery.
