Interesting to know a bit of history by visiting locations. The hours are flying! Zhanar, our guide was fantastic. We led in the end to an excellent Turkish restaurant.

Tatyana gave us an excellent tour in fluent English. She presented informative and insightful information about the history and cultures of this area. We had visited some other Central Asian countries and Tatyana related their history to what was happening in Kazakhstan. Tatyana also pointed out many interesting architectural elements of the buildings in Alamaty, which we found interesting. The booking with Guy Deez, through Viator, was easy. We recommend this tour and Tatyana.

Ski resorts was interesting. Grand Mosque, Cathedral and the park was beautiful. I enjoyed time with feeding the pigeons in front of the cathedral which was really cool 😎. The guide was very helpful and informative. But there is not much to see in the city of Almaty. I booked for 8 hours walking tour but finally we hired a taxi with the guide to go ski resorts, otherwise nothing interesting in the city. Muslims please be aware of food at the hotels and restaurants. Porks are serving comely and horse meat are most common in Kazakhstan 🇰🇿.
