Giske Beach We love to show you these beautiful beaches at Giske Island. Giske Island had many vikings before. The famous Norwegian band A-HA recorded their latest album where we are stopping.

5.00It has been a pleasant tour in a minivan through underwater tunnels and bridges. We have visited islands, outdoor museums and a lighthouse. Our guide Trond has given us a high quality experience with practical notions as well local stories. We have really enjoyed our time with him.

5.00We had a very enjoyable and informative tour around Alesund yesterday with Trond. Trond is a local guide and they work as a group offering different tours. Our 3.5 hour trip took us to the 5 islands- all very different and visits to lighthouse and museum. Trond explained much about the history and different culture in each of the islands. Would highly recommend this if you are on a shirt stop in Alesund- we were on Havila Pollux.

5.00Picked up at cruise port. Small minibus so could hear driver easily . Trond was a great guide and clearly loved his city and surrounding area. He took us to sites not normally seen when on larger minibuses. He also provided us with a very clear guide so we knew exactly what we would see and lots of information on each site. He was extremely well organised.

5.00Trond met us on time and we departed without delay in a nice quality minibus on our tour of Alesund and surrounding islands. Trond is highly knowledgeable and engaging. The cake stop was great. Highly recommend for an overview of Alesund, history and districts.
