What sets our tour apart is the rare opportunity to step into a real, working alpaca and llama farm — not just observe from a distance. Located in beautiful Bozeman, Montana, our one-hour+, hands-on experience invites guests of all ages and abilities to connect with animals in a meaningful, memorable way.
Unlike standard petting zoos or walk-through tours, you’ll feed treats, learn how to halter and handle alpacas, give them baths on warm days, and — depending on the season — meet baby alpacas (called crias) and their moms. You may even witness a live birth or breeding session, as this is a full-time textile farm where life unfolds in real time.
Perfect for animal lovers, families, and adventure seekers alike, our group format ensures a personal, immersive experience that’s both educational and unforgettable.
Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller
Suitable for all physical fitness levels
No public restroom available
Wheelchairs and strollers are welcome on our farm tours. However, please note that the terrain includes gravel, rocks, and dirt paths, which may be difficult to navigate for some mobility devices. We recommend using all-terrain options if available and are happy to accommodate as best we can — just let us know in advance.
A Note to Parents: We love welcoming children to the ranch and believe farm visits can be a magical, educational experience for all ages. To ensure the safety and enjoyment of our guests, animals, and team, we kindly ask that children are supervised at all times. For families with young kids, we recommend a ratio of at least one adult per two children to help guide safe, respectful interactions with the animals and the environment. This is a working farm—and we appreciate your help in keeping the experience calm, safe, and positive for everyone involved (including our alpacas!).
We understand that mobility can be a concern, especially for those who may have difficulty walking longer distances. As a working farm, our property includes uneven terrain such as gravel, dirt roads, and natural rocks, which may present challenges for some guests. That said, our tours move at a relaxed, comfortable pace with plenty of time to enjoy the animals. If you're able to walk approximately 100 yards from the parking area to the barn, we have a shaded swinging chair where you can rest and take in the views. We're also happy to bring alpacas over to you for up-close interactions, so you can still enjoy the experience without navigating the full tour route. We want everyone to feel welcome here and will do our best to accommodate your needs. If you have questions or would like help planning your visit, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

Along with alpacas and llamas, you will meet our three Turkish Anatolian Guard Dogs, Chili, Hazel, and Finn, they are litter-mates and best friends! Our chickens and horses (seasonal) love welcoming our visitors and will always take some extra treats too! We have ground squirrels, deer, bald eagles, and of course our cat, Jill, will occasionally make a special appearance. Take lots of photos during your time on the farm and with your favorite alpaca (don't forget to tag us on social media). At the end of your tour, you'll get to pick out a keychain or sticker souvenir to remember your visit with us! Please wear closed toed shoes that you don't mind getting dirty and make sure to put on sunscreen as we will be outdoors for the entirety of the tour. Additionally, bring water and note there is not a public restroom on site. Please remember this is a full-time working farm, so you may see alpacas breeding, live births, etc. and always watch your step!

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of the Alpaca and Llama Farm. Dani was a great tour guide who shared information on the animals and the small family owned business. The experience was literally hands-on enjoying these unique animals. A great conclusion to our "girls" weekend in Bozeman!

This experience was amazing! I went with my dad and 7 year old daughter and they had a blast too. Our tour guide Jenna was so nice and informative. Walking and feeding the alpacas and llamas was so special. I’d definitely recommend going at least once.

I did the one on one tour with the owner James. I learned so much and had so much fun getting to know thew workings of the farm! It was so great and I highly recommended pending the extra money for the personalized tour! James and his wife are incredible people and the farm tour was so educational and fun!! This needs to be on the MUST DO LIST for Bozeman! The products are the best!!! I was there for the two hour tour. The atmosphere is just so peaceful and welcoming! I h ad the one on one tour but the regular tour (small crowds) was a perfect size when I was there and I can't say enough of making this a part of your to do list when visiting Bozeman! This is best for EVERYONE!!!

OMG. It's awesome. Just go.. We are mountain people. Vermonters who often shun "touristy" things. My husband and I are visiting my 21yo son and I decided to risk the touristy thing; they grudgingly acquiesced ..... WE ALL LOVED IT. p.s. Jenna was an incredible tour guide!

We had a great time visiting and touring this farm. Great up close and hands on experience. We got to touch, walk, and feed the Alpacas. It was a great time for the kids and adults. Our tour guide Jenna was great, as was the animal caretaker Annie.

The entire experience was absolutely wonderful. Our tour guide Jenna was very knowledgeable and both my son and I learned so much. We will most definitely be back; you get to feed, pet, and even walk the alpacas through the pasture and get some amazing photos with the mountains as a backdrop. Plan this little adventure for memories to last a lifetime!
