5.00We enjoyed visiting the smaller family owned wineries. The tastings were fun and plentiful. We learned about the many varieties in the Alsace region. Our guide Thierry was very friendly and knowledgeable.

5.00We did a half day Alsace Wine Tour. Our tour guide was very informative about not only the wine but the areas we were traveling in generally. He took us to some spots along the way for sightseeing. He answered all of our questions and was quite knowledgeable of the area. The choice of wineries (two of them) were very good.

5.00We had two wine tastings in two beautiful Alsatian villages in glorious sunshine. Our host, Alain, was warm and informative, showing a genuine interest in the area and its traditions and eager to show us aspects of its character. It included a visit to one of the vineyards which was interesting.

5.00Our guide Alain was very knowledgeable about the local area and also about wine . We visited two wineries , tried more wines than I care to remember and also had a walk around Eguisheim a beautiful village . Well worth it !

5.00My wife & I really enjoyed ourselves on this 1/2 wine tour from Colmar. Our driver/guide, Anna, was wonderful. Besides the wine tasting, we learned more about the whole grape growing process than we had on any other wine tour we have ever taken. We also loved the other Alsace towns outside Colmar that Anna took us to. A very enjoyable experience.

3.00Not one of the better TripAdvisor tours I’ve been on. The two wineries we visited were fine, though I’d characterize them as Tier 2 wineries that are mostly pouring <€20 bottles, so not the sorts of places vinophiles will frequent to restock their home cellars. The real letdown was the transport itself. Two issues. First, we were jammed in like sardines. Two of us had to sit in the front seat and the middle person’s knees (mine, on one leg of the trip) were jammed into the dash. The driver said we were booked for six (and the van sized for six), but then two more people showed at the beginning that weren’t on the manifest. The driver allowed them on, so either a screw up by the operator not knowing how many people would show or by the driver letting two unticketed folks to join. Second issue was the driver, who I understand was a stand in. If he said more than 10 words in our four hours together, I’d be surprised. He could speak English, but gave us nothing in the way of insights to the region’s history or culture. Did we get a discount from the tour operator for getting an unnarrated journey - hah! Not recommended. I wouldn’t use this tour operator again.

5.00Can only be recommended. The mood was relaxed, we had a nice little troupe. The wineries visited would not be so easy to find on their own. The organic wine was very good. Our guide was very competent and super friendly.
