Our local drivers follow the weather, the clouds, and a touch of Arctic intuition to find the best viewing spots. There is no fixed route — only the freedom to go where the sky is clearest.
For centuries, the Northern Lights have been wrapped in mystery. The Sámi once believed the lights were spirits dancing across the sky, powerful and alive, to be met with respect and silence. When the aurora appears, it’s easy to understand why.
We do everything we can to find the dancing green lady, but she follows her own rules. Some nights she fills the sky, other nights she hides. Either way, the journey through silent landscapes, crisp air, and ancient stories is an experience in itself.
Tours with six guests or fewer are conducted by car.

5.00It was a little cloudy but we DID get to see some Northern Lights!! Our guide was great. He did a fantastic job considering Mother Nature wasn’t totally cooperative. It was fun driving out of Alta and seeing some of the houses and where people live. Great evening!!!

5.00First of all this tour is just a hunt to find the Northern Lights, as the title says. We basically drove around in the bus with the driver stopping at various locations and we all got off the bus and took our pictures. Note…since our bus was all cruise passengers and our time was limited we all opted to skip the church drive by and start the hunt immediately. It was a very cloudy night but our driver was still able to find some spots where we could see the lights and we got some decent pictures. We were happy over all with this tour.
