The Amalfi Coast can be complicated and time-consuming to visit on your own. Taking a shared minivan or minibus is the simplest and most affordable way to enjoy the sights. This eight/nine-hour trip begins in Sorrento, Naples, Salerno and heads south for the breathtaking drive (lightly narrated by your driver-or narrated by your guide), and an hour or two in each of the three main towns - Positano, Amalfi and Ravello - before returning to Sorrento, Naples, Salerno.

What To Expect
Positano
Positano, the most picturesque town of the Amalfi Coast resembles a waterfall cascading down to the sea. Visitors descend narrow pathways, perusing artisan workshops offering ceramics, fabled lemon products, and the distinct local style of dress.
Amalfi Coast
The gem of Amalfi is the oldest of Italy’s maritime republics. Whitewashed homes dotting the hillside are illuminated by the abundant sunshine that bathes the city. The basilica’s cupola is a reference to the Sicilian -Arabic influence that once dominated the area. For centuries it has been a popular destination due to its natural beauty and ideal climate.

5.00Alfonso was an absolutely delightful guide on the road to and through Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello. He told us the "true" story with all the behind-the-scenes info that really added color to these (let's face it) touristy areas. We had such a great group (8 total) and spent a really fun day together. Alfonso's friendliness, warmth, and knowledge make this a don't miss experience.

5.00Our tour today of the Amalfi coast was outstanding. Our guide Micheline was engaging and so informative. We found her friendly and entertaining. Her passion about the Amalfi Coast showed through her many stories about the area and its people. Smooth pick up from an easy to access location and return was also easy. We enjoyed all three stops with plenty of time in each town for a little shopping and drinks and food. We even got our toes in the water. The driver, Salvatore maneuvered us along the winding roads skillfully and safely. Everyone had a memorable time. Definitely will recommend Mondo Guide to our friends.

5.00If you want to experience the 3 towns of Positano, Amalfi & Ravello and not worry about driving, transportation issues with an amazing guide, this is the tour to take. Our family of 5 with 3 teenage boys had a great time. From the pick up to the drop off, it was amazing. This tour is with a small group of about 20 people. Our guide Micheline was so knowledgeable, funny and excited to talk about the history & the scenery of all 3 towns! You get to spend about an hour to 1.5 hours in each town and free to do whatever you desire. However, the guide can also give you good recommendations. Highly recommend it.

1.00This tour only has a driver, no tour guide. The driver doesn’t speak any English. He just dropped us off at the town. It was self tour on all three towns for 1 hr each. He took us to a nice restaurant for lunch. Every town was packed with people and street vendors. I will avoid this tour if I had known.

5.00Loved this small group tour to visit the Amalfi coast! Our port was changed from Salerno to Naples the day before we arrived. The company quickly made the change in pick up location for us. Communication was great, texting us the change and even a photo of where to meet our driver. We enjoyed free time at our three stops, Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello. We stopped at a road side lemonade stand, had great photos. Our driver had us back to the ship in plenty of time. Appreciate the small group experience versus that of the large tour buses that you get from the cruise line.
