The Amalfi Coast can be complicated and time-consuming to visit on your own. Taking a shared minivan or minibus is the simplest and most affordable way to enjoy the sights. This eight/nine-hour trip begins in Sorrento, Naples, Salerno and heads south for the breathtaking drive (lightly narrated by your driver-or narrated by your guide), and an hour or two in each of the three main towns - Positano, Amalfi and Ravello - before returning to Sorrento, Naples, Salerno.

What To Expect
Positano
Positano, the most picturesque town of the Amalfi Coast resembles a waterfall cascading down to the sea. Visitors descend narrow pathways, perusing artisan workshops offering ceramics, fabled lemon products, and the distinct local style of dress.
Amalfi Coast
The gem of Amalfi is the oldest of Italy’s maritime republics. Whitewashed homes dotting the hillside are illuminated by the abundant sunshine that bathes the city. The basilica’s cupola is a reference to the Sicilian -Arabic influence that once dominated the area. For centuries it has been a popular destination due to its natural beauty and ideal climate.

5.00Our tour guide, Alfonso was wonderful. We loved him! He was so knowledgeable about the towns we were going to and gave us time in each town to explore on our own. He set up a fabulous lunch for us in Ravello which we would've otherwise never known about or gone to. It was a wonderful day.

5.00We had an incredible full-day experience hitting all the major highlights, but what truly made the day unforgettable was our driver and tour guide, Alfonso Sorrentino. Alfonso was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what he does. He went above and beyond—offering flexibility throughout the day, sharing insightful information at every stop, and giving us fantastic recommendations for things to do and places to eat during the rest of our stay in Italy. I’m sure the standard tour would have been enjoyable, but Alfonso elevated it into something truly special. Thanks to him, this became a trip we’ll always remember.

5.00Our trip along the Amalfi coast was amazing! It started with our driver Eduardo who we can’t recommend enough. Eduardo made sure to point out all the sites along the drive, made stops to show us the best lemoncello (informing us of the different lemons that exist in the region) in Positano, we stopped off for an hour be told where to get the best pictures. On our way out he stopped out of the way because the opportunity for a great family picture came up. He was extremely informative and very friendly! When we arrived at pompeii he connected us with our guide Andrea who was absolutely amazing. Walking through the ruins he broke down what each area was and what took place. He answered all our questions, took pictures for us and made it really fun. Both Eduardo and Andrea were super accommodating of our 3 year old son and moved at his pace when needed. We highly recommend this tour!

5.00Outstanding and memorable experience for exceptional value. Our friendly and funny guide Alfonso provided us with interesting and useful background as our small group drove through the Amalfi Coast in a comfortable van, stopping for plenty of time in Positano, Amalfi and Ravello. The views are astonishing, and I’m so glad I decided to use Mondo Tours rather than try and take the local buses on my own as we saw grumpy people waiting for buses at all our stops. It was so nice to have a driver with his incredible knowledge of the area at our disposal, providing a hassle free day of sightseeing covering all the Amalfi Coast bases. Such a relaxing and enjoyable way to experience the Amalfi Coast, a lifelong aspiration for me. Highly recommend this tour.
