The Amalfi Coast can be complicated and time-consuming to visit on your own. Taking a shared minivan or minibus is the simplest and most affordable way to enjoy the sights. This eight/nine-hour trip begins in Sorrento, Naples, Salerno and heads south for the breathtaking drive (lightly narrated by your driver-or narrated by your guide), and an hour or two in each of the three main towns - Positano, Amalfi and Ravello - before returning to Sorrento, Naples, Salerno.

What To Expect
Positano
Positano, the most picturesque town of the Amalfi Coast resembles a waterfall cascading down to the sea. Visitors descend narrow pathways, perusing artisan workshops offering ceramics, fabled lemon products, and the distinct local style of dress.
Amalfi Coast
The gem of Amalfi is the oldest of Italy’s maritime republics. Whitewashed homes dotting the hillside are illuminated by the abundant sunshine that bathes the city. The basilica’s cupola is a reference to the Sicilian -Arabic influence that once dominated the area. For centuries it has been a popular destination due to its natural beauty and ideal climate.

5.00Our guide Patty was wonderful and a wealth of information about the Amalfi Coast. Our driver Pietro navigated the winding roads brilliantly. We really enjoyed seeing the coastal road and it was so beautiful. You don’t get much time at each place, but it gives you enough to know if you want to go back and spend a whole day in one later.

5.00My tour of the Amalfi coast was wonderful. Michelin was my guide, and she was amazing. She was knowledeable and passionate about each location we visited. The transportation was great. It was easy to find the group at the meeting location. I wished we had more time in Positano, but the time we had in Amalfi town and Ravello was adequate. I would highly recommend this tour to others. It was a great way to see so much of the Amalfi coast in one day!

3.00Although the tour itself was okay, it was advertised as a Small group tout, I was expecting a group of round 6-8 people including ourselves, I was a bit shocked to find it was a mini bus of 20 odd people, I think for the price I paid, that was a bit much to be honest.
