Absolutely loved this boat tour! Our boat driver was friendly and went out of his way to make sure we had a great experience. There was even one point when we went to our first swimming spot and he wasn’t happy with the quality of the water so he took us to a different location. Our driver made sure we had plenty of wine or beer and he even gave us restaurant suggestions for our stop over in Amalfi and Positano.

  • Enjoyable and relaxing tour by boat was the best!

This boat tour from Sorrento to Amalfi, Positano and the surrounding areas was excellent. Luciano was our guide, and Luigi was the boat captain, both professional and entertaining. I believe we had a total of 10 guests, just the right amount of passengers on the boat. I highly recommend this tour…the best tour out of 11 tours on our trip to Italy in October.

Francesco, our Captain for the day, was the most gracious, charismatic and handsome tour host I’ve ever known! As a native Sorrentine, Francesco is deeply connected to the unique history of the Amalfi Coast - not what you would read in a book; but, really interesting facts about maritime life and history of this breathtaking coastline. He exemplifies the best attributes of his homeland and people!! We had an absolutely amazing day on the Salerno Gulf on the Tyrrhenian Sea! The il Milionario was a magnificent boat, we were blessed with a glorious day and fun ship mates!!! Francesco treated us with beautiful local wines, beer, water and a beautifully presented tray of fresh fruits - looked like a photo shoot!!! He took us swimming and to a private cave where we fed the fish in crystal clear water! Showed us where the iconic Sophia Loren lived, the private island and former home of the great Mikhail Baryshnikov lived and so much more! I’ll never forget this day as long as I live! I now have a magnet on my refrigerator to remind me of the four Italian Maritime Republics – Genoa, Venice, Pisa and Amalfi – whose merchants and fleets dominated the Mediterranean Sea with Amalfi being the first maritime republic as told to us by Francesco! Thank you for the best day of my life! Grazie di cuore!

  • A long but enjoyable day

Everything went as planned. The boat was nice, clean and comfortable and the snacks and drinks were appreciated. The captain was great, very knowledgeable and entertaining. Needless to say, the scenery was amazing but the stops in Amalfi and Positano seemed a little rushed. We did have a some rain in Amalfi but we were able to find some shelter in the shops. The ride back to Sorrento was long and pretty bumpy for those of us in the front of the boat. The people in the back had a little smoother ride. The stop for swimming was enjoyed by those who went in. All in all it was a long but enjoyable day.

  • Best experience for the Amalfi coast

Fabio our boat captain and guide was fabulous, we had the last tour of the season and the weather was perfect. It was definitely the way to see the Amalfi coast. Highly recommend.
